This is my 5th year of book traveling :)

As a youth services librarian I will focus primarily on YA books with some children's but will throw in a few adult books from time to time as well.

Hi Meg! I'm a librarian too, but in a hospital. I'm going to try to read my way around Africa after I finish my other challenges and I'm looking at your list esp for adult books. For my challenge, I'm starting with Morocco - there is hardly anything in English by a Moroccan author about Morocco... but I found a literary magazine with translated short stories and poems so will start with that.

Yrinsyde - if you're looking for additional options for Morocco, here are three I've read and enjoyed Dreams of Trespass: Tales of a Harem Girlhood, Tangier and The Caliph's House: A Year in Casablanca. Sorry to hijack your thread, Meg! :-)

Hope and Other Dangerous Pursuits was actually written by a Moroccan :)
She does live in California now, but was born and raised in Morocco, as well as Great Britain and the US.
