Challenges from Exploding Steamboats discussion

Of course, it doesn't need to be one of the old classic CYOA books. There are many modern takes on the form, some decidedly not for the kiddies. I got a kick out of My Lady's Choosing: An Interactive Romance Novel, and Neil Patrick Harris's autobiography is delightful.

A copy of the original CYOA #1, The Cave of Time, did recently come into my possession, though, so I have to read that one.

I did read The Cave of Time and even remembered a few of the scenes from whenever I read it back in the '80s. This was an amusing little trip through time in more ways than one.

I read “Edinburgh Castle” by Matt Doeden. This book is very like the CYOA I read as a kid, but it includes facts from the history of Edinburgh and its castle. Like I did as a kid, I explored all the options. Quick and fun read, takes me back to my childhood. Borrowed from the library.
