Roseanne's 2019 Challenege
1. The Thorn Birds 1/8/19This was a reread for me. I love this book! I always love finishing the first book of the year. I so dislike that 0 on my challenge.
4. Stars Above 1/27/19I really just love this author. Not even reading the description before reading her books anymore.
7. Dragonfly in Amber 2/28/19Who would have known it was necessary to have a physical copy and an audio copy of a book so that I can listen and read at the same time? Completely addicted to this series and reading this way now.
8. Voyager 3/21/19And just like that I have lost all desire to do any reading challenges this year. All I really care about is reading the Outlander Series. I haven't picked anything else up since I finished Mrs. deWinter. That was over a month ago. I have already moved on to the 4th book in the series.
9. Drums of Autumn 4/11/19I read this one faster than I expected to. A slow start but I ended up loving it. And yes I am onto the next book in the series. So addictive. Good thing there are 8 books already written. My biggest problem with getting addicted to a series is that I have to wait for the next book to be released.
16. Written in My Own Heart's Blood 7/11/1917. The Space Between 7/14/19
18. A Leaf on the Wind of All Hallows 7/15/19
I think it is safe to say I am obsessed at this point.
19. The Exile: An Outlander Graphic Novel 7/18/19I normally don't ever read graphic novels but I enjoyed this one. Maybe the key is reading the graphic novel of a book when you know you already love the story.
30. Lady SusanI love Jane Austen but this I did not like. I just did not like the way the story was told by letter writing.
31. Fahrenheit 451 9/13/19the first time I have ever read Ray Bradbury. I may have to look for others by him.
32. A Wrinkle in Time 9/19/19This was really cute. I enjoyed it but I think I would have really loved it had I read it when I was younger.
37. Afterburn 10/12/19Totally read this because I knew it was short. A friend really liked it and I knew it would be a one sitting read. It was ok.
40. Turtles All the Way Down 10/19/19So the thing with John Green is I don't absolutely love his books but I find them so cute and entertaining.
42. A Separate Peace 10/25/19Parts of it I really love. Parts of it I found boring. An unusual read for me.
44. Dear George, Dear Mary: A Novel of George Washington's First Love 11/14/19A slow start but it got better and I did end up enjoying it. Especially the second half of the book.
49. One of Us Is Lying 12/10/19I am totally guilty of reading this because one of my kids is reading it for school. I actually enjoyed it.
50. The Dressmaker’s GiftJust like that and with 2 weeks to go I have hit 50. Who would have thought that was possible certainly not me.

My other goal is to try and keep track (rather remember about) challenges that I am doing. I tend to forget what is out there and completely forget to update stuff. So I am going to link everything here.
