The doors to the balcony are looked on the upper portion of the venue, where the dinning area is.

Lucas had to admit, he didn’t really think that Cora would end up going with him. He thought maybe she would have an excuse to back out, but then again, she knew as much as he did that if she did back out, she wouldn’t get her books. After all, it was a deal, and he always followed his side of the deal, with everything. It was one of the reasons he was one of the best dealers, but there was no point in talking about that.

After having to hang out with Cora around the banquet, he left to get them some drinks. Thanks to the help of a close customer, he was able to get two glasses of champagne. It was kind of pathetic how their wasn’t much supervision in today’s event, not that he complaining. After having to search around for her, Lucas found his date in one of the balconies. Skillfully, he was able to open the doors while not spilling anything. “There you are,” he said as he approached here. As he moved closer to her, he couldn’t help but have his gaze over her body. It was probably the tenth time he did that, and he he couldn’t help it. She looked so sexy in the short black dress. He kind of expected her to wear something modest, but he was glad she didn’t. It entertained his imagination. He himself was dressed in a rented suit. He handed her a glass, noticing that she was resting her eyes. “You okay?” He asked, genuinely wanting to know because he wasn’t that much of an ass.

Lucas was glad that she took the glass. He wasn’t sure if she was the ‘I’m an angel that doesn’t drink alcohol’ type of girl, but was glad she wasn’t, but he liked that she wasn’t.

A soft chuckle escaped his lips as he moved to rest his arms on the stone railing, standing next to her. “What do you think of me exactly?” Lucas finally asked her. It wasn’t because he wanted to know what people thought of him, being the schools player. He just wanted her to know she couldn’t really judge him, saying to take pictures of her because of how thirsty he was, and that he was pretending to care. He brought his glass to his lips and took a sip. After swallowing, he said, “I'm not heartless, y’know. I don’t like to see girls upset, and I don’t like to be the reason they are. Am I a bad guy for wanting to have fun?” He glanced away from the view and looked at her.
