Amy seemed desperate to leave the house but rather ambivalent about her newborn son. What did you make of her initially?

I thought she wanted out of the house and would probably give the baby up (or abandon him) if she had the chance.

That’s what I thought, too. Later, when she seemed to want the child, I knew she had something up her sleeve.

Exactly Jonetta. She was willing to use her son for her own gains.

She certainly didn't seem to have any motherly instinct throughout; just when I thought it may develop, the idea was quashed.

I thought she wanted out of the house more than she wanted her son. I knew she was up to something when the son became so important for her to keep.

Amy was very self-absorbed. She only cared about her son as a tool to be used to get what she wanted.
