After reading Howard's End is on the Landing: A Year of Reading from Home, and doing an episode on Reading from the Queue (#9), we are ready for a new reading challenge: for one month only reading books that are currently at home, waiting patiently to be picked up and enjoyed.

I don't know what my books will be--at first I thought a month would be enough time to get through a ton of books, but as September approaches (the month we have designated)...I find myself a little reluctant. Which books will I choose? Is a month enough time?

Half Price Books is having a Labor Day sale with 20% off of everything in stock. I figure I can still buy things in September even if I continue to read what was already on my shelf before? Haha. September started seven hours ago, and I am already looking for loopholes.

I totally feel the same!

Of course, I started a 700 page book last week...so right now I already feel like I'm cheating since it is a library book, not a book from my house!!

I'm really enjoying listening to your podcast. You two are interesting and fun to listen to. I love that you talk about not just books that you're reading or want to read or have read but also about other book related topics. And I love hearing about your grad school activities - I'm an engineer with an MBA that always does the practical thing, so my lack of a liberal arts education is one of my biggest regrets.
