Around the Year in 52 Books discussion

I used this for prompt 2: "A book with one of the 5 W's in the title (Who, What, Where, When, Why)." I've been wanting to read some nice light LGBT romance, and thankfully this hit the spot. Although the romance felt rushed at times, there was definitely a spark between Katie and Cassidy, and some of their adventures had me chuckling. I also really liked Katie discovering her sexuality and the whirlwind of emotions and general confusion that came with that. Her journey was very relatable to me. That said, I was a little frustrated that the author skirted around the word and topic of bisexuality. It would've been nice to see it come up at least as a possibility, considering Katie had dated men in the past.

If anyone's looking for a fun light lesbian romance or a palette cleanser from heavy reads, this book is definitely a good option.
