More questions, at that moment I wasn’t even sure it was Alex that pulled her to safety. I just assumed it was.
Kaylea Cross writes the most fantastic action scenes I've ever read and this one was just amazing. I had a big problem with Grace blaming Alex for what happened to her. It explained she was traumatized and came close to dying. When she came to and he wasn't there, like he promised, she listened to the venom her ex was spewing.
It was a fantastic scene and it gave me insight into what severed their relationship. I needed more at this stage.
Later when we learn what her ex-husband had done, I thought she may have been unfair. But combine that with the trauma she’d endured and having learned “Jack” wasn’t who she thought he was, I understood why she felt used.

I'm not letting her off the hook that easy. I agree she was traumatized and Alex was maintaining his cover by misleading everyone as to his true identity (I can't call it lying when his life and our countries security depend on his cover), but she didn't want to give him a fair chance to explain and he wasn't even supposed to be there in the first place. She was just pissed that she really loved him and thought it was all a lie for him.
I assumed this scene was with Alex. I felt really sorry for Grace. I understood she was hurt when he wasn't with her and since he was gone she believed her ex-husband.
