Jenn Post (dinojenn23) | 5 comments Good Afternoon , this is just a brainstorming thing , but where do you normally find your books you are going to read? I think finding is just as fun as reading ...I have found a few with google searches , and Pop Sugar tbh , but i think my newest locator amps up the funess ..Or maybe i am geek haha I love going to thrift stores and combing thru the books to re-home literature that has been discarded ..Just seeing other than here how you pick what you are going to read ..

Audrey (ttrivium) | 47 comments I have googled when desperate, but for this challenge I usually spend half the year reading whatever random books catch my fancy. Usually at least half of them end up slotting into the challenge. For the second half of the year when the low hanging fruit of the challenge subjects have been used up, I look through the spreadsheet for ideas, or ask a librarian. Or my siblings. Whoever I run into first.

Fiona Baldwin | 8 comments Have to say Google has been very helpful, but I have a lot of books on my kindle so hopefully some of those will be suitable.

Meg (meginfrance) | 24 comments I get book ideas from a mix of places--- interviews on NPR, recommendations from magazines (O, New York Magazine), walking around a used bookstore (if you are in the Baltimore area, I HIGHLY recommend The Book Thing (google it). I also check out what my friends are reading on Good Reads--- and if am looking for inspiration for a challenge topic, I check out the spreadsheet for ideas. Good luck!

daniela (daniela_nieblina) Well, I'm doing the Read Harder challenge as well, and they have a great forum dedicated to a bunch of suggestions on each. Basically I go there first for suggestions, and try to see if the books I choose can fulfill a PopSugar challenge as well.

I also look at all the books I've been meaning to read, TBR, and see if I can use any of them. I've figured out around half of the books I want for the challenge. The rest I'll wait to see if I can be inspired with sometimes later.

Morbidgypsy | 1 comments I honestly just walk around Barnes and noble for hours. I am scared that one day book stores will fade away. Trying to get as much of it as I can. Trying to show the magic inside to my children. And I don’t care if I can save $15 buying it through Amazon or not I will always support book stores. They are my sanctuary ❤️

Sam | 69 comments Like others I usually start with things that take my fancy, and find partway through reading them that they fill at least one category. If it's something like a book with a specific word in the title I search my local public library (which is where I source 95% of the books I read). Next I'll check the challenge spreadsheet here, ask work colleagues or friends, if none of that works then I do a simple search engine query.
