There is a Goodreads list of authors beginning with X. I don't know how to put in a link using my phone. Check Listopia.

Yeah, I looked at that, but nothing on that appeals to me. I was hoping for a more personal suggestion, or at least something from the list that someone here has read.
A chance to try something different. But I will probably go for one of the Aunt Bessie cozy mysteries. Try looking at your library's online catalog and see what they have.

I have read a couple from this list. I enjoyed Sky Burial: An Epic Love Story of Tibet
and The Lost and Forgotten Languages of Shanghai

LOL I had thought of just going to the library shelves and starting at X and see what they have. :)
I see that the Aunt Bessie series is part of Kindle Unlimited, which I subscribe to occasionally. Thanks!

Sky Burial sounds really good. I'll see if I can find it. Thanks!

I found Sky Burial on the shelf at my library. I read it and really enjoyed it! And bonus, it's a translation. :)
If anyone is still looking for an author beginning with X, Aunt Bessie Assumes by Diana Xarissa was quite good if you like cozy mysteries.
