Laura H | 367 comments Hello Nights Raven and Page turners! I’m excited to read for fun with you all.

message 7: by CraftyChara (new)

CraftyChara Hello.

message 8: by Kamilah (new)

Kamilah (kmp113) Hey team, sorry I have not said anything yet (life happens sometimes). But everything is good now and I am ready to get this challenge going.

Let's get to know eachother a little bit.

I'm Kamilah. I am a working mother of 3 (5yr old boy and soon to be 1yr old twin girls). I took a few years off from reading (not purposefully) with moving to a new state in 2016, buying 1st house in 2017 and welcoming 2 precious little girls in 2018...but I've welcomed reading back with a vengeance these past couple of months and am sooooo happy.

I've acquired a big love for Historical fiction (thanks to The Nightingale and The Home for Unwanted Girls just solidified it), but I read just about anything.

What about you all?

message 9: by Laura (new)

Laura H | 367 comments Hi Kamilah! Life is good. Thanks for volunteering as captain. I’m impressed you fit in reading with little ones and all. My kids are teenagers plus my 🐕. I’ve always enjoyed reading in all genres. I especially like fiction, children’s books and biographies. I’ve been on good reads for a while. Most of that time I’ve been in D.E.A.R. (So love that name), though don’t post much. I joined this book tower challenge to add some fun to my winter reading. Looking forward to reading with you guys !

message 10: by CraftyChara (new)

CraftyChara Hi guys. Cara, here I have very eclectic in books so I'm willing try anything.

message 11: by Raven Nivhaar (last edited Jan 31, 2019 01:48AM) (new)

Raven Nivhaar | 241 comments I'm Nights Raven (can be called either Nights or Raven, either is fine), I love to read but I go through patches where it's just so hard to pick up the books :P
Am currently working on a book of my own.
Also I didn't see any notifications about anyone else posting in here lol Hi everyone!

message 12: by CraftyChara (new)

CraftyChara Yeah, you either have to turn it on manually or leave a comment which turns it on.

message 13: by Kamilah (new)

Kamilah (kmp113) Alright Team Page Turners. Let's get reading. Books started today now count for the Challenge.

All I ask from you all (for right now during Free Reading) is to post when you finish a book (preferably use the 'add book/author' to link to the book). I will organize/update our points on our points page.

message 14: by CraftyChara (new)

CraftyChara Okay. If anybody wants to do a buddy read let me know.

message 15: by Kamilah (new)

Kamilah (kmp113) I forgot about points for Buddy Reads. Here are the books that I already planned on reading next (and that I have access to currently):

The Dry
Little Women - a DNF from last month (barely started)
The Immortalists - a DNF from last month (currenlty halfway through)
Longbourn
Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls
Carnegie's Maid
Fahrenheit 451
The Fellowship of the Ring
The Great Gatsby

Hello! Just popping in to say that if you want to claim points for reading a BOTM book, you will have to participate in the group discussion, so remember to do that :)

message 37: by CraftyChara (new)

CraftyChara I thought so I just need you to create a group discussion for us.

I have the whole series.

If the series is categorized as a children’s book. Then it doesn't count. :0(
