Sofina walked into Starbucks. The bell rang as she opened it to signal a new customer. Today she was wearing a purple button down shirt, light blue jeans, her black dressage boots, and her white purse with a red rose design covering it. Inside her purse was simple supplies that she may need in her day like a phone and wallet. She didn't have the latest tech phone because of the expense for those things so all she had was a simple flip phone for calling and rarely texting. She did have an iPod 5 touch so that was mostly what kept her from buying a new phone. Only using the iPod for music and wifi when she could find it, most of the time she wasn't on an electronic device when she was out.
Nicole was already in the Starbucks. Having her hood up and iPhone blasting music she couldn't hear a lot, but she definitely could hear the irritating ding of the bell when people entered. She wore black skinny jeans, and her black boots along with a flannel white tee shirt. Glancing up she looked at the girl who walked in, and at her outfit. Oh great another cheer prissy princess. She thought.
Sofina walked up to the person at the cash register and asked for a latte. Taking out her wallet she paid the the price for their service then stood by as she waited for her latte to be made. There was a total of 4 other people in the place. Looking down at her boots she rubbed a small scuff off her riding boots. She had plans on just reading her book while she was there but afterwards she had plans on leaving then going to the stable to practice.
Nicole sunk down in the seat putting her earbuds up louder. She sipped her coffee as she glanced up at the girl slightly. Looking around she noticed the place quite quiet. She rolled her eyes no place was loud anymore. Do people not know how to talk!
Grabbing hr freshly made latte, she thanked the lady then took a seat at an empty table. The table was next to a girl with a hood on who was obviously just blasting music. She gave herself a mental shrug then took out her book. She was about 1/3 of the way through and so far it wasn't what she expected, but she wasn't the type to stop reading a book right in the middle of it.
Sipping her coffee she narrowed her eyes. She hated people especially girls. She wasn't sure why, but it was just that way. Nicole switched the song to a Bruno Mars song. At least her music was better than her attitude.
Sinking in the chair, Sofina read her book. Just break up with the guy, she thought as she turned a page. There are plenty of fish in the sea. She took sips of her latte as she read. The bell to the door rang as one of the customers left. Now there were only three other customers in the room.
Nicole huffed out a breath and put her hood down. That didn't mean she wanted to talk to anyone, but they probably would get the gist that she did. Humming the song "Timber" she smiled. It was her favorite song in the whole entire world.
Sofina looked up when somebody's humming broke the silence. She recognized the song to be Timber, one of the songs on her iPod. Looking back down, she continued reading her book. Her iPod made a ding and that was when she relized that Starbucks might have wifi. She pulled the iPod from her purse to look at the notification.
Nicole pouted when the song was over. Grabbing her empty coffee cup she looked at the trash can. She flicked her arm up, and threw the cup into the can. She smiled when it went in, and looked over at the other girl.
Sofina drank up the rest of her latte when she finished the chapter. Deciding it was time to go to the stable, she got up, threw out the cup, then headed for the door. Freedom would most likely be in his stall but that would make things easier for her so she didn't have to go find him in a random paddock. She had plans to practice some dressage with him. She shouldn't really need to change since all she really needed was her riding boots, which she was wearing.
Nicole mumbled, and stretched. Getting up she headed for the stable. She knew Rosella probably missed her, and she needed a ride to get her mind off things. Before heading out of the Starbucks she turned around and shook her head at the other people in the shop.
Sofina headed out the door and noticed the motion that the one girl made. Waving at her, she walked out to her truck while trying to take out her keys from her bag. When she found the keys she clicked the button to unlock her truck and jumped in. Starting the engine, she closed the door then drove off.

Everyone knows and loves Starbucks right? It's a warm, friendly coffee shop that sells a wide assortment of hot drinks - a few cold too - and food.. all of it good stuff. It's a great place to come to meet a friend for lunch or afternoon tea.
