Obsessed with True Crime discussion

I just spotted a movie by this title in the New Releases shelf at Family Video. The box out me off a bit; the guy they have playing Rodney Alcala looks like a crazed street person -- a lot like the creepy old geezer he is now -- not the urbane lounge lizard he was when he was out there committing his rape murders. Has anyone seen this one?
