Interestingly I was was watching a documentary on Bundy and they briefly mentioned one of the theories relating to who Bundys real father was. Bundy was not the product of a brief fling with a sailor (this story was just used as a cover) but the product of incest. Incest between Bundys grandfather and his mother. My mind was blown.
This that is possibly why he had an even more messed up relationship with his mother.
Was his mom molested by her father? Is that why she couldn’t just name him as her son and had difficulty accepting him? It was her child but a constant reminder of what happened.
Is this why he looked up to his grandfather so much and they were so close? Because in fact his grandfather WAS his father! Not proven but theorized by some. Makes sense to me.

The first episode was kind of meh for me although it’s nice to see the faces of the victims. I found it interesting that “Stephanie” and “Meg” allowed their real names to be used.
