Anyone watching this on Netflix now that you read the book? I just started it today and it seems like it is going to go in depth. I am really interested in it now that I read the book. I am obsessed with learning more about him. I would love to chit chat with anyone else watching!!

I will watch that too. Interestingly I was was watching a documentary on Bundy and they briefly mentioned one of the theories relating to who Bundys real father was. Bundy was not the product of a brief fling with a sailor (this story was just used as a cover) but the product of incest. Incest between Bundys grandfather and his mother. My mind was blown.
This that is possibly why he had an even more messed up relationship with his mother.
Was his mom molested by her father? Is that why she couldn’t just name him as her son and had difficulty accepting him? It was her child but a constant reminder of what happened.
Is this why he looked up to his grandfather so much and they were so close? Because in fact his grandfather WAS his father! Not proven but theorized by some. Makes sense to me.

There was something about this on the Generation Why podcast Id listened to a few weeks ago & I was saving the discussion for the livestream. Haha. Stole my thunder, Ania! :P

I love having people to discuss things with!!! I started it but fell asleep (go figure quiet house). it was really interesting the first episode. I would of never got into it if I didn't read the book first. it is so neat seeing the victims family members and really putting more pictures and stuff to their faces

Oh thanks, I didn't realize it was up yet. Netflix should know better given my watching history! lol.
The first episode was kind of meh for me although it’s nice to see the faces of the victims. I found it interesting that “Stephanie” and “Meg” allowed their real names to be used.
I watched all of it today as I had five hours of waiting for my class with nothing to do. It wasn’t anything we didn’t know from the book really but showed a lot of trial footage and different perspectives. It’s one thing reading about it but hearing him and seeing the spectacle he created is another.
