This is a good contest. Well worth submitting to. Each writer agrees to rate the writing of other writers in three rounds of voting. The finalists get published and money. The rest get valuable feedback. I participated two times before. The first time I missed the deadline so was washed out in the first round, the second time I voted on time and came out at 169 out of 350. Not too shabby. The feedback was constructive. This time I hope to come out much higher.

We are sorry to say that the Sixfold vote is delayed until May 1 because the vote did not reach its participation goal yet. The all-writer-voted process depends on the collaboration of many writers and their opinions for a robust, successful publishing result. We're halfway there, though, with about 200 writers entered in each of the fiction and poetry votes. Rest assured, the vote will begin on May 1 -- all previous votes have needed two deadlines to gather between 300 and 400 participants in each genre. Until then, please spread the word to writers you know to be a part of absolutely the best editorial available. The many votes completed so far with thousands of writers participating show that writers consistently vote only the highest-quality manuscripts to win and publish. In each vote, no high-quality manuscripts are missed.
The New Sixfold Vote Schedule: Read and Vote Round 1, from May 1 to May 12 Round 2, from May 13 to May 24 Round 3, from May 25 to June 5
• If you can vote with the new schedule, do nothing. Sixfold will roll your manuscript entry into the next vote and you'll begin voting on May 1. Sixfold will e-mail you before voting begins. If you like, you can replace your current manuscript PDF file with another up until April 23. (In the "Your Submission" section, click "Edit Submission" link.
