Maddie was sitting on her bed looking outside. It was a beautiful snowy day. Classes are canceled because of the weather.

okay. So random names. I got this lol

Jayne was walking around outside, simply enjoying the freedom of no school and the fresh air when she tripped on something buried in the snow and fell head-first into a snow bank, disappearing from sight.

She saw her walking, but then she disappeared. She went outside to check on her. 'Jayne?' she looked around walking everywhere.

Jayne stood up from the snow bank, snow sticking to her, making her look like a snow man. "H-here..." she said shivering, trying to wave at her friend Maddie, but her arm so loaded down with snow, so only managing a half-wave.

She saw her and ran over to her. She couldn't help but laugh a little. 'Are you ok?' she asked helping her up.

"A little frozen, cold, and maybe some frostbite. But okay" she replied with a small smile.

'Let's get you inside. I already have hot coacoa on the stove' she said helping her in the dorm.

Jayne leaned on Maddie, grateful for her friends help. When they got inside, her clothes began dripping everywhere, so she took her coat off, but her shirt was covered as were her pants. "Oh jeez" she said, looking down at herself.

She let her lean on her. She helped her with her coat. 'uhh why don't I grab you some dry clothes' she said looking at her.

"Uh - yeah, that would be nice. Thank you" Jayne replied, struggling with getting her gloves off as they were made of yarn and frozen.

She got her some dry clothes put them on her bed. She saw her struggling and helped her with her gloves. Maddie's hand were always hot so she just held her hands for a minute and let the gloves thaw out, then she pulled them off.

"Thanks" Jayne said giving Maddie a small smile, and then she fled to the room, shutting and locking the door, a small sigh of relief escaping her as she began to get changed.

She made the cups of hot coacoa and sat down on the couch covered up with a blanket, she sat Jaynes cup on the coffee table.

After changing and freshening up, Jayne left the room and saw a cup of cocoa and a blanket spread across the couch. She headed that way and sat down, picking up the cup.

'better?' she asked

"Yeah - thank you" Jayne said, taking a sip of cocoa and staring at the wall.

She turned to her and had a smile on her face, 'sooo, since we dont have classes until next week, i was thinking we could go to a bar tonight.'

Jayne contemplated the idea. It was a good one actually, and she had already done all her studying throughout the week. "Well... since I don't have anything to study - alright." she replied with a smile.

'Yes' she said with a big smile. She hugged her real fast, 'you will not regret this' she told her still smiling. She won't regret it either. (hehehe lol)

Jayne froze slightly after the hug and then scooched back a little, smiling too. She really liked Maddie but was scared to say anything. "Yeah - I'm hoping I won't" she replied with a small laugh.

(later that day)

'Are you ready?' she asked excitedly.

Jayne looked up from her book. When she wasn't studying, she was reading, and almost always forgot her other plans. But not tonight. She had remembered and gotten dressed in a blue, long gown that complimented her strawberry blond hair that was down and green eyes, and just a touch of make-up. "Yep" she replied with a smile, setting her book aside. "Are you?" she asked.

'yeah' she was wearing a knee long light blue and white dress, long black wavy hair down and showing her pretty baby blue eyes with a little bit of makeup on. 'you look nice' she said smiling.

"I" Jayne forgot how to speak for a second. "I - erm; not as nice as you" she finally got out with a smile.

'thanks, but you do look very beautiful' when she walked by her she gently slid her hand on her arm walking towards the door. 'coming?' she asked smiling

Jayne shivered at Maddie's touch and grabbed her hand without thinking. "Yeah" she replied smiling.

She smiled when she grabbed her hand. She didn't mind though

Jayne opened the door, grabbing her jacket. "Coming?" she asked, completely forgetting she still had hold of Maddie's hand.

She laughed and grabbed her jacket, 'yes'

They arrived at the bar.

Jayne looked around the bar, not sure what she was doing. She hadn't been to one in a long time. "Uh - hey Maddie... what exactly am I supposed to be doing?"

'drinking' she sat at the bar and ordered a few drinks for them.

Jayne laughed, feeling stupid and sat down next to Maddie, unsure of what to talk about.

(I hate online classes. I'm supposed to have my biology class completed today. I am SO taking a break - blurg lol)

Soon Maddie was drunk and started to sway a little bit.

Jayne didn't drink much, thankfully and had to help her friend to the front door. "I think it's time we go Maddie.." she said.

'i think so too' she said walking to the car almost falling down.

Jayne grabbed her friend to stop her from falling, wrapping one arm around her waist to steady her and unlocking the car with the key fob that was in the other hand. She carefully guided Maddie into the passenger seat, strapping her in.

'thank you' she said carrying her words out and smiling.

"No problem", Jayne said, getting in the car and starting it up. It stuttered at first, but with a little bit of coaxing, started and began warming up fast. "You good to go?" she asked her friend, trying to avoid eye contact.

'yeah' he said putting a hand on hers

Jayne started at the hand that was now on hers and looked at Maddie in the eyes.

She looked her in the eyes as well. Before they left she leaned over and kissed her.

Jayne felt numb from the kiss on the drive home. She had no idea what to do now, and nearly missed their driveway, but turned just in time, and parking, helped Maddie get to their dorm.

They got to the dorm and got on her bed. 'tonight was fun' she said smiling

Jayne lay on her side, facing away from Maddie, still unsure of what to do or how to feel. "Yeah- yeah, it was fun" she replied.

She went over almost falling again and sat next to Jayne stroking her hair, 'everything ok?'

Jayne's stomach fluttered slightly at the touch of Maddie's hand and didn't move. Couldn't really. "I - yeah. Just tired. And thinking. And tired of thinking..." she said with a small laugh.

She laughed a little as well, 'thinking about what?'

Jayne cleared her throat. "Nothing..." she lied.

She rolled her on her back, 'it has to be something' she said smiling at her and looking in her eyes.
