Genre Specific Review Groups discussion

In joining this review group you have agreed to review the books assigned to you on a two month schedule. This group is now in the review phase and is no longer open for sign up.

This is Fantasy Group 18. As with other review groups, you will be expected to read and give an honest review of the works assigned to you. Assignments will be made after the group sign-up has filled.

Participants are expected to post reviews to Goodreads. Due to changes in how Amazon enforces its policies, it may not be possible to post reviews on Amazon. We encourage participants to post reviews on Amazon, if and where possible. Authors are welcome to request that reviewers post reviews to other venues, as well. Reviewers are welcome to offer to post reviews to other venues, if the subject book is available there.

Contact the authors you are scheduled to review to arrange to receive a review copy of their work or, if the reviewer prefers to give the author a sale, purchase it.

Please post to this topic, both when you receive review copies and when you post the reviews. Authors may respond to reviews, but any form of harassment or anger directed at reviewers will be treated as a violation of the terms of service for this group.

If you are going to be late with your review, either post to this topic as soon as possible or message the author and the moderator.

If your book has not been reviewed by the deadline for either round, contact the review group moderator. This is necessary to make certain that the review process is fair for everyone.

Note that any participant who makes no effort to fulfill his or her commitment to this group will have all reviews of his or her work resulting from this group deleted and his or her membership in the Genre Specific Review Group will be terminated.

Just to update what I’ve already posted. I’ve been read by Christopher but not this book and I haven’t worked with CD or Melinda before.

We now have ten participants. I believe that a schedule of review is possible, considering the known conflicts. Please let me know about any unnoted conflicts as soon as possible. I will be generating a review schedule in the next day or two.

There's a lot of familiar names on that list. KT reviewed a different book of mine, so I cannot review her. I reviewed Nadishka, but a different book.

I cannot read Christopher or KT because they have reviewed my books before (but not this book).

Nadishka can't review me. but I am happy to review her again.

Sorry, but we already have ten participants, which is my limit. Start a new request in the Review Group Requests folder.

I set the start date for Monday to give everyone a chance to check the schedule. Since there were so many conflicts to begin with, please do not start exchanging books until there has been enough time to identify additional conflicts.

Cyana, I'm about done with your book. I've found odd highlighting about the middle of the book that makes it hard to read the text. I won't mention this in my review but you might want to fix your mobi file.
