Jess☺️ (jessicas1984) Right, I'm on chapter 20 and I'm still not a 100% sure if I'm enjoying reading this at the moment.

I don't feel I have much to say so far at all, apart from I already think I know what's happening with the husband and daughter.

I've my fingers crossed I can keep going untill the end.

Saarah Niña (saarahnina) | 197 comments I'm not too invested just yet either- the characters and their lives, honestly I'm not too interested. There are too many and right now, I can't see their relevance.

Anna Fox is quite sociable for an agrophobiac, she has no fear of letting the outside in. She welcomes strangers she watches daily, inside her house. Not what I expected though I know very little about the condition.

Oh, and we learn her age: 38.

It's picking up but Jay was very right: smaller chapters make it a little better.

I'm not seeing anything odd about father and daughter. Just Anna and her husband: he's encouraging but doesn't admonish her for her drinking. I personally would think that he's rather pleased with their situation.

Jess☺️ (jessicas1984) I think I worked out about the husband/ daughter because it was similar to another book I read and yes I agree the husband hasn't really mentioned her drinking I also think that was what got me thinking about his situation,
and definitely I wouldn't of stuck with it if the chapters were to long I think it will felt like it was dragging on.

jay ♡ Clearly, her trauma doesn't alienate her from having a social life as much as I originally thought it would. She gets on with a few of her neighbors, and talks to and helps others online.

As said before, as much as she's chugging down and going through her wine frivolously, the husband should say something or at least be concerned, especially since she's taking heavy medication with them.

Susy (susysstories) No suspense but interesting so far. I do feel invested.

I hadn’t thought about the father and daughter but yes, If I’m thinking what you’re thinking, that would make sense seeing that certain things didn’t make sense to me (lol, that sounds kind of vague, avoiding spoilers 😂)

Susy (susysstories) Only spoilers up to this chapter, so I still have to be careful! 😉

Chapters 10-19
Enjoying it now. She is not that agoraphobic and I like that she let's a handful of people interact with her. She's social for her condition. Of course she doesn't let them in other room-maybe they are her true hideout. I wanna know who hurt her and what trauma she went through. Loving Jane but I think she has a bad relation with her controlling husband who seems just an ass. I didn't think much about her husband and daughter. I think Anna be leave her sanctuary for Ethan and Jane in the end if Alistair poses a threat. I hope it surprises me.

Yes, I am liking it now too but I think it's going to be a little predictable. Hope not.

No idea, someone definitely attacked her and she could have had a fight with her husband, but who knows? I wonder Ed played a role in what happened to her. What do you think?

@Saarah About the husband and drinking, I think he doesn't know. He couldn't, could he? They are separated.

Saarah Niña (saarahnina) | 197 comments Aqsa- I'm sure he knew...Maybe I'm wrong but I remember him asking if she was downing her glass with pills. As if he knew it was a habit of hers. He was teasing her about something serious, which is why I didn't like him so much as a result. But there's still so much that has yet to happen that changes a lot of what we think matters!

Oh then I must have missed it, I'll read the conversation again and see. That'll really change my impression of him. Thank you Saarah ❤
