Elizabeth Mellen (librarypatronus) | 37 comments I am working on 4 3 2 1 and am about 420/860ish pages. I read...maybe 30 pages of that this morning during breakfast, but am hoping to get a chunk in during my kids nap/quiet time this afternoon. I do have the audiobook for when I clean, too.

I read Love Story about 30 years ago. I have always wanted to reread it. Enjoy!

Good luck with yours Elizabeth! You're halfway through it.

Valerie Struthers (valeriestruthers) I finished "Panic" by Lauren Oliver this morning (not sure if anyone has read it.) and that was probably about 70 pages. But I am just about to start Dracula so I doubt I will finish that this weekend as it is a biggie. I am hoping to maybe read about 200 pages today, my copy is 600 pages long but the writing isn't too small so I might actually finish it in the next 5 days if school doesn't pile on too much work. Anyway I'm going off to read, happy reading guys.

Hey guys,

Actually, posting here was perfect and I'm so sorry I forgot to make a thread for it earlier. My readathon started about 9 hours ago but I had a killer migraine last night and I had to go to bed early. (Hence the lack of updates or posts.)

Anyways, now that I'm feeling better, I alternating between listening to What If It's Us by Becky Albertalli and The Thousandth Floor by Kathrine McGee. They are both super amazing books and I hope that I can get a lot of reading done today because I'm falling a little behind.

I really want to reorganize my bookshelves too today so I might be taking on that task here soon.

Happy reading,
Amelia

Feel better Amelia. Reorganizing bookshelves sounds very gratifying!

Sassenach (joellesassenach) | 26 comments Feel better Amelia ! Hope it will be soon :)

I started the readathon a few hours back (French time ... it makes me first to start it !) and I hope to finish two of the three books I'm curently reading (the other one is 920 pages long so there's no way I can finish it for the readathon !) and I already read two comics books but I had a friend that came and spend sometime with me this afternoon so no reading time ... but we spoke a lot about books :)

Happy reading everyone !

Elizabeth Mellen (librarypatronus) | 37 comments I wasn’t as far as I thought, so after a good chunk of reading - and audio while prepping dinner - I’m only on 475/870 😭

My goal for the readathon though is to make a good dent in this book. If I could get to 650, maybe.

I do have a shorter book to read in between if I get burnt out on the longer book. Though, so far, I’m really into this one. There’s maybe more sex/masturbation/dirty thoughts than I had anticipated, but I am reading the same boy’s multiple teen boyhoods, so maybe it’s real accurate 😂 It’s not one I’d rec to my mom though 🙈

Lynn (lynnsreads) I completed A Canticle for Leibowitz (St. Leibowitz, #1) by Walter M. Miller Jr. by Walter M. Miller, Jr. I wholeheartedly rated it 5 stars. It was a good book to read today.

Elizabeth Mellen (librarypatronus) | 37 comments I got to page 613, so only about 200 pages, though that means I should be able to finish it tomorrow!

Sassenach (joellesassenach) | 26 comments Sorry that I didn't post a lot this time but in the end, I didn't read a lot for the readathon ! A "grand" total of one book, two comic books and one graphic novel (longer read compared to the comics) and I did some reading on the long novel I started in January. A summary not particulary impressive ;) lol !
