I was doing really well until I mentioned it to my brother and apparently I don’t get it. I did however like my story better so there is that at least!

Its like finishing a crossword. You may not have what was expected, but if you got it to all fit and all the lines are words - well then, what does it matter!? :)

Ha, exactly! Maybe we should all discuss what we think happened in book one when we’ve finished it so we can create a super crossword story.
I just reached the end of "Book the First". The past couple of chapters have been pretty good and I understand them without looking up a synopsis!
It feels like that a lot of the way through, I read a couple of chapters where I don’t think much happens and then a chapter which makes perfect sense. I just can’t imagine being able to not put the book down like I do with other books.

It is a bit of a struggle - I don't hate it, but "enjoying" is not a word I would use.

I wont give up for sure - but, when they say it is all about the journey . . . this journey is tough!

I don’t think I’ll have finished by the end of February. Every time I mention how difficult it is someone tells me it’s amazing so I definitely need to finish it. Just had to have a break because it wasn’t making reading enjoyable.
I am finding the third part of the book much more interesting and readable. I hope to finish today!
