Hi Markie and everyone. To be honest, I struggle with picturing events based on graphics (strange maybe, but that's how it is) and so I haven't read the picks. Having said that, I thought that having a M/M podcast that focused on comics was a brilliant idea. Has anyone done that before? I don't know. I don't think so. I enjoyed listening even though I'm probably not going to be able to follow through the suggestions. Best wishes

I don't blame you! It can be hard to pick up a new medium if you're not used to it.
There might be some m/m comic podcasts, but I haven't found one! That's one of the reasons we wanted to give it a go. There's so much amazing content out there to talk about and this definitely needs a platform!

I just finished reading them all, and this was so fun! Thank you! I wrote lots of thoughts on my comics dreamwidth journal, but in short:Fence is a DELIGHTFUL sports comic, though I def wish it was more of a romance, alas.
Arena has such great promise and intrigue - the only one I didn't know going in, so glad I got the chance to check it out.
Coyote - well, I recced it so a maybe biased fave, and (view spoiler) plots are SO GOOD for me.
Crimson Spell - a lot funnier than I recall and def going to pick up the rest!
Very excited to hear the BOTM ep next week!
Anyone else have a favorite of the lot (even if you didn't get to them all?)
Fence definitely intrigues me. I've read the first volume and it still amuses me how I am such a sucker for shonen-style underdog sports stories. Coyote - the art is what sold me. Little thing I discovered after reading it and that was (view spoiler). I'm still not sure if the author chose to include that detail for a reason, or if it will play some role in the plot but I still found it interesting.

Yeah, Cotoye took me by surprise with how much we liked it. The story has a lot of layers and the characters are interesting right away. I feel like this is one of those manga that could hook me for the long haul for sure.
