PJ/Heroes of Olympus discussion

This cabin is for the children of Zeus. Almost constantly can you hear thunder and lightning, which makes it difficult to sleep. A large statue of Zeus is found in this cabin.

Zane trudged up the hill past the cabins until he reached the first Cabin, Zues' cabin. He was relieved as he opened the door and came inside. He was dusty with hellhound ash and had a rip in the sleeve of his shirt. His cabin was familiar as always, the sound of the storm relaxing, the statue of Zues as creepy as ever. His bed was in one of the far corners, plain and unmade, a few pictures tacked to the wall like his mom and her new husband, and him and Lyric in camp for the first time as young boys. He had been six when he came to camp, while Lyric had been nine, but the two looked thick as thieves. He peeled off his shirt and rummaged through his bag for a new one. He was fairly good looking and moderately muscled, and his camp necklace hung from his neck with ten beads to show for his time. All with a different image to mark the years. Like his first bead showing a Hydra, his first monster. His second bead showing a mini Zues for the first time meeting his father at the winter solstice. Some other images, like one had a plane when he fought air spirits and saved his mom's life. He barely looked at the hanging necklace before pulling on a new shirt, searching for a new sword, since the one he had taken out that morning had a chip in it. He made a mental note to go to get it fixed.

Clara materialises at the door to Zeus' cabin and knocks quietly on the door. Tears threatening to fall

Zane heard the knock and slipped on a new short. He walked to the door and opened it, surprised to see Clara and her tears. "Clara? What happened?" He asked, and then quickly said, "Come in, come in." He led her inside the cabin. The thundering was unusually loud today, like it was agitated.

She looks up at him then quickly glances away. "I-Its Troy" she begins "I told him I got a vision from my dad and that we have to go on a quest, three kids of the big three and a child of Ares" she says softly "I told him and he went really mad and I sorta ran"

Zane frowned. "Well, you know, Troy is kind of trouble. He's a son of Ares, he has a temper. Why are you so concerned with him anyway? You should stay away from that creep. He flirts with any girl who looks at him, and then he has an awful temper. He's the kind of guy who would charm the pants off you, date you until it was convenient, then have a bad end and take off." He shook his head, disgusted even talking about Troy. But he didn't know Troy very well, he was going on camp rumors and what he knew about Troy. But there was something different about how Troy acted around Clara. The way he looked at her, maybe. A certain different aura, a glimmer. Still, Jason was kind and the complete opposite of Troy, comforting Clara.

She wipes her tears off on her sleeve "I think he might not act around me like he does everyone else" she begins talking slowly so she doesn't choke up "I think he might actually like me ... for me" she says "most people stay away from me because of me being ... you know" she says

Zane frowned, "Every girl is going to think he treats you different. Doesn't mean he does." He shook his head and sighed, "Whatever. Anyway you mentioned a quest?" (I think I'm gonna make Zane gay, idk.)

She thinks for a moment "Yeah, I suppose" she says quietly "It's not that I even like him, its just he started getting really mad and just made me sad that he could change his mind so quickly" she says quietly
She stops talking and stands for a moment breathing deap breaths "Hades told me that Ares was kicked out of Olympus for doing something, he wouldn't tell me what, and 3 children of the big 3 and one child of Ares must go on a quest to stop Ares from unleashing weapons of mass destruction on the mortal world" she finishes

(I mean Zane wouldn't be like totally fashion loving gay, he'd be Zane but be like a closet gay. Like he isn't interested in girls and has subtle hints that he's gay. Plus he gives good advice.)Zane shrugged. He moved to a weapon rack to grab a new sword. "That isn't surprising, Ares is always ready to unleash havoc on the world. Like his children." Obviously Zane wasn't a fan of Ares. He swiped his fingers through his dirty blonde hair and looked to Clara, "So, by big three, I'm assuming you're thinking of yourself, the new Poseidon girl, and me. By the way, what'd you do with Troy?" He raised an eyebrow, obviously thinking she'd killed him. (I'm gonna ask some of my friends to join this group. We definitely could use some more people, since I'm rping most of the people.)

((Yeah, sounds good. Most if not all of my friends are invited but none of them actually roleplay they make like one comment and then nothing for like 3 months and then they expect me to make them Moderators))
"He's outside the camp entrance." she says "He can't get in for some reason and the rest of the Ares cabin have gone haywire" she finishes

(XD I noticed.)"I noticed on my way back. It seems their protection is gone, they're getting attacked like flies to a zapper." Zane said with a frown. "How exactly are we supposed to convince Ares not to go to war? I mean he's the god of war, so..."

"I don't know, but thats all Hades said" she says beginning to pace with her hands on her hips "We need to go tell Chiron, and get Ariel a weapon of sorts" she says

"You think it's wise to bring her? She's new, she's had no training." Zane mentioned, frowning.

"I know, but Hades said THREE children of the big three. and Nico isn't here, and neither is Percy. so it is me, you and Ariel" she says

(Sorry I have been so busy. Since we have a new child of Poseidon, why don't we have Ariel stay here?) Zane grimaced, "Well... What about Andrea? She's a daughter of Poseidon. By now Ariel must be done talking to Chiron, let's head to the Poseidon cabin and see who is available. I remember my first quest, and it wasn't my first day, and most definitely still didn't go well. We lost two campers. I want to spare the new girl from that, as long as possible." He checked his hair in a mirror, fussing with it a moment, shrugged on his jacket and grabbed a new sword. "Gods, I wish Thalia were still around. I hate going on quests with Troy, pompous jerk." He grumbled, still not liking the guy. Thalia was about the only girl who kept Troy in line with his flirting. (Also do you want me to add a Big House to the Camp forum? Or would you like to? I'm skipping it with Ariel but other campers should have it. Plus the Satyrs live there.)

Clara is silent for a moment before briskly nodding and beginning to walk out "Okay so I'll go tell Chiron and you talk to Andrea?" she says "Or if you want we can switch"

(Once I figure out Goodreads...) Zane nodded, "That works out fine." He said, "What do we do about Troy?"

She thinks for a moment "I dont know" she says honestly "I think if we make him the leader of the quest he might forgive us?" she tries

((I wont be on much today, dont have my laptop at school...))

(Gah I'm having trouble with Goodreads. Can you add the stuff for now?) Zane frowned, not liking the idea, but he reluctantly nodded. "I guess. Your choice." He said blankly, walking past her and leaving just to avoid the subject.

She stands there in disbelief "So I'm going to the Poseidon cabin ..." she calls after him

"Nope, I am, you go to Chiron." He called back, already gone. He was in a bad mood, probably to do with Troy.

She scowls after him, before looking for a shadow and travelling to the Big House
