Hi everyone! I hope you enjoyed your free copy of Bountiful!
Post any/all questions in this thread! Questions can be book specific or general writing related. Respectful personal questions are also welcomed. Let's talk!

Danita | 1 comments Will we get an epilogue for Bountiful? Or will there be snippets of the characters in other books?

message 3: by ChristineLF (new)

ChristineLF | 8 comments Since Bountiful was the first book of yours I read...which one do you recommend I read next?

message 4: by Maggie (new)

Maggie Avalos | 1 comments I really love this book, Zara is amazing as well as Dave. The only thing that is missing is an epilogue!!
And in the next book in this series just a little bit about them was commented :(
Sooooo I really really hope that Roderick and Kiren get a book, and we know more about Zara and her lovely family!
Thanks Sarina for such a wonderful story; Castro and Leo cameos were formidable!

E-Reader Addict (ereaderaddict) | 14 comments When you are writing a series, how far out do you plan the other stories?

For instance, in Bountiful we get bits a pieces of Benito and Skylar’s relationship. I LOVED reading Fireworks and realizing all the little clues you left for us during Zara and Dave’s story!!! Do you do that on purpose, or are you just that good that cool things like that just manage to happen? 🙂

(In my head I picture you having a secret closet with a giant felt board with people attached and strings going from this person to this person to this person and little dialog bubbles above their heads... Is that how you do it???)

PS Bountiful is my FAVORITE in the True North series. I wish I could erase it from my brain so I could experience it for the first time over and over again. ❤️

Nova (cookiemunchkin) | 40 comments Will there be an epilogue and do you plan ahead how many books will be in a series? xox

message 11: by Adenam (new)

Adenam | 1 comments When you first started writing Bittersweet did you know what other couples you would write about in the series? Or that it would eventually include a character from the Brooklyn Bruisers?

I used to think I didn't like romance but then I discovered your books last year and have read as many as I can get from my library and have also discovered a lot of other romance authors I like. Thanks for writing such excellent books that rep the genre so well!!

Read it first (tynanz) | 2 comments My man Cindy recommended your books. 😀 Just kidding. I read the WAGS series first and laughed so hard I drew attention to myself. I've also read the Brooklyn Brusier series and the Man Hands series. I just finished Fireworks, my favorite in the True North series followed by Bountiful. Enough about me. 😀 I'd like to know how and why your characters have such a wide variety of personalities, backgrounds, situations etc? It's like the only constant is the location. That is what keeps it fresh for me. I never know what to expect.

NiCoLeTa E. {Addicted To Books} (nicoletae) | 21 comments Hello there....
The truth is that I'm still reading "Bountiful"(70% at the moment!) and I'm really enjoying it....
This is my second book from you, but I can guarantee it won't be the last.... I'm sure that I will continue with the rest books of the true north series.... I realize from the blurbs that in here we saw almost all the rest of the couples and I'm wondering if it would be worth to read the first book since Audrey and Griffin were having a big part in here! And usually, if I now how they ended up, I'm losing my interest!
Also, I would like you to recommend me which m/m book of yours to read first since I'm a virgin in these kind of books!
Thank you! ❤️

The BOUNTIFUL characters also appear in these books:

Zara's affair with Griff is over in Bittersweet, and she shows up inSpeakeasy andFireworks, too. (Those two books feature her brothers.)

Dave's team is in Overnight Sensation, Rookie Move, Hard Hitter, Pipe Dreams, Brooklynaire

Thank you! I did actually plan Benito/Skye as I was writing Bountiful. So the appearance of that big lounge chair on the balcony/terrace was not an accident. I knew that Benito's high school love had been driven away, and that Zara felt guilty about it. Honestly, my planning skills are not always on point but in this case it was quite intentional. :)

I try never to finish a series, honestly. Sometimes the continuation becomes a spinoff (aka Brooklyn Bruisers is a spinoff of The Ivy Years.) But I never say "this will be 3 books only," because I don't want to seal myself off from opportunity.

Thank you so much! Well, this is a little weird but I wrote the first 3 True North in reverse order. I liked Keepsake but it wasn't a Book One. And then I loved Steadfast but again--not a Book One. So I finally wrote Bittersweet and found my Book One!

That is so nice of you to say! It helps me that I've lived in a lot of places--New York City and Michigan and Vermont and New Hampshire. I've worked on Wall Street and I've waited tables and run a business. In short, being in my 40s means I have a lot of experience to draw upon, and it really helps!

Jess☺️ (jessicas1984) This is the first book I've read of yours and I loved the fact that being book 4 didn't matter are all your book sort of standalones? Also you made me fall in love with ice hockey players again 😍 so thankyou, I'm going to ask a normal boring question but if your answer is Yes!! I'm changing my job ' did you actually meet any ice hockey players whilst writing your series or are they just from your imagination?' thanks for the free book to just loved it 😘

I have 30 books and 29 are standalones! That's just how I roll. So jump in anywhere!
Hockey players--yes. Sort of. I mostly follow college hockey, and I had friends in college who played on the teams that I still follow! I don't know any NHL players, though. I live in hockey country, where pretty much everyone plays or played hockey. I have my own stick so I can play, too.

Anna | 15 comments Sarina, Thank you so much for your books! I've read most of them. My fav so far are from "True North"! Loved them!
Is there any posibility you will write a story about MCs in their 40s?
Have a teenager at home and i'm so tired of too much drama about almost everything. And i think i'm not alone here.
Almost forbid myself to read NA books.
Thank you
Hugs and Sun from Spain!
