Jay was at her house making lunch for her parents, they were ill and they could not get out of bed much, so she cooks 3 meals a day for them, except for when she is at school, then she can only cook them 2.

She forgot to get more bread and told her parents that she would be back in a few minutes, the store was right down the road, so she decided to walk there.

She tried to turn and look, but the person was hugging her from behind, 'uh, what performance, do I know you?'

'I need to get back home to my parents, I am in the middle of making them lunch. I would love to see, but I just don't have the time' she explained

'hmmm, well....I could use a break' she said with a small smile

She was drug to the tavern and looked around

'Who is Saffron?' she asked as she saw a beautiful girl start dancing around

'She is beautiful' Jay said smiling as she watched Saffron dance

She was still smiling and clapped, she was speechless.

She didn't know what to when she kissed her cheek, she looked over at the girl who dragged her here.

'Sometimes? W-why did she call me princess?' she asked

'Ahhh' she said and looked at her watch, she really didn't want to leave, but her parents would probably be worrying right now.

'That's the thing, we don't know what it is, thank you though' she said and walked back to the store to get more bread

She turned to her, 'uhh, sure' she said, she was out of options so she payed for the bread and walked her to the house and where her parents were

'They in here' she said leading her to their room. Her parents were laying on the bed looking at the girl

'uhhh, let see, they keep getting sick no matter what, always running a fever and yet they are freezing to the touch'

'possessed? How on earth would they be possessed? well.... that would explain their very dark eyes'

'yes, see' she pointed to their almost black eyes

She took the cups and gave them to her parents who drank them, not knowing what it was. "can i ask you something?' she turned to her

'do you call everyone cutie?' she asked raising an eyebrow and somewhat smiling a little bit hid it

She giggled and smiled a little bit at her comment.

'yeah. sure, why not' she said smiling a little still, she got everything ready to make some homemade beef stew

She blushed a little and without turning towards her she said, 'uh, yeah go ahead' she said as she prepared everything

She giggled a little bit and started cooking the meal, it took a few hours for it to cook

'The roast will take a few hours to make, want anything to drink?' she offered them

'wonderful to see you too' she managed to get out before she turned to the fridge to blush and bend down to get a couple bottles of water.

She didn't see that as she was stiring the roast.

'Jay' she said smiling and turning back towards them

'princess?' she asked

'I don't know, but I am by far all of those' she said gesturing herself, pretty much saying she is ugly

'You really think so?' she asked

she gave a half smile, 'thanks, no one has ever said that before' she said moving a small chunk of hair behind her ear, out of her face

'No, honestly, Im really use to it by now, I mean, no one at school likes me. I don't really have any friends, and oh my gosh....' she froze

'I-I'm normally so shy, b-but...you... i-i...' she froze again staring in her eyes

Her eyes widened, 'your kidding right?'

'okay' she smiled and stirred the roast some more.

'so, what do yall do for fun, besides dance'

she turned back to them, 'oh, okay' she said

'I play music' she said smiling. She looked at the jewelry, 'where did you get those?' she asked

'okay then. and uhhh, are you gonna kill me?' she asked kinda serious.

She raised an eyebrow, but she was glad they didnt say yes. 'oh, uh thanks?'

'pot roast' she said smiling

'it is, i have a special recipe'

'sounds like fun?' she asked as she got hugged from behind

'so whats the secret?' she asked raising an eyebrow even though she cant see

'no, i said special, not secret' she booped her nose and stirred again

'not really, but okay' she smiled and stuck her tongue out back at her

Her parents weren't any better, it seemed like they were worse.
