It was obvious from that stage that there was more going on in that house than met the eye:). Garnet in particular seemed to have reasons to be glad he was dead!
They had some very interesting reactions, especially Garnet who was very happy her father-in-law was dead.
Paul seemed completely surprised so I thought he was innocent. Lucretia was ambivalent and callous so that told me there was no love lost between them. Garnet seemed a bit giddy so I thought not only was she glad Chilton was dead but also relieved. I didn’t think she’d killed him or she would have done a better job of covering it up but I immediately became suspicious of their relationship. Of all of them, Lucretia was my best bet of being involved in his death.
Close but no cigar!
Close but no cigar!
There was definitely something going on in that house. At that point Lucretia was my top suspect too.
