Fun challenge!! Thanks for hosting it this time around, Megan. :D
I'm definitely in! I read anywhere from 0-7+ books a week (all depends on if I'm in a reading slump, lol). I think I read about 700 pages a week on average.

Thanks! I was happy to do it again.
I get that. I had the hardest time deciding on my books/pages, but I went to my stats for the year and divided it by how many weeks we've had so far. :)

So far this year, I've averaged about six books a week and about 1300 pages. That number seems really high, but I'm not very good at estimating, so I'm hoping my stats page is accurate! ;)

I plan to read 1-3 books per week during this challenge, ranging from 200-500 pages per week.

I read anywhere from 1-3 books a week, but it depends on how busy that particular week is. ;) Not exactly sure how many pages per week... a couple hundred, maybe...?

I read anywhere from 1 - 8 books a week depending on how busy I am. And they are anywhere from 50 - 300 pages.

No reviews are required, but you may always share your review/review link if you want. :)
I've added an example post to message 2.

Once teams are created, check in with your team. I'll post the teams here and plan to send everyone that signed up a message as well.
This should be a very laid back challenge, since you can read almost anything. I think my only suggestion would be to post finished books as soon as possible, since it's a race to the top, but other than that just have fun. :)

Awesome, thanks!

I'll say 4-5/wk x 250-300 pgs each = 1200 approx
Life does interrupt [as well as review requests] ! So i do add that caveat .. i hate disappointing expectations, so maybe factor my reading a bit lower than what it is right now in prime winter reading weather! ☺

Thanks, Andrea, I will! ;) I think I might try going back and re-reading a few of my favorites.

Update: If the book read is part of a series that contains the word "mountain" that would also work to double points. :)

I’m guessing you mean in the series title, not in the text, right?
Thank you Megan. 🙂

In this challenge teams will be racing to see which one can reach the top of a randomly selected mountain (listed below) first. After the first mountain is conquered, a new one will be selected and teams will again race to the top.
Every page read is equal to one foot, but you might be able to double them.
To double page values: Read a book...
1. set in the same state as the selected mountain
2. with a title, author, or main character beginning with the same letter as the mountain (e.g. Mount Rainier's letter would be "R")
3. with "mountain" in the title or series name
4. where a mountain is a major setting
The challenge will run from March 1-May 31. We probably won't use all the locations, but if we run out the challenge will end earlier than the 31st of May.
