Wicked by Jennifer L. Armentrout is new Adult, and they have actual sex. New Adult books are more mature then YA but similar style story lines with a more mature theme and mix etc

Burn for Me is a good series to start.
Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night is another great series. You should find both of these series at the library.
A Maledictus (plural Maledictuses[1]) is a female individual who carries a blood curse that eventually turns her into a beast permanently.[2] The curse is carried from birth and passed down from mother to daughter.[1] The beast ultimately transformed into can vary based on the curse.[3] Before their permanent transformation, they have the ability to change shape at will, which becomes gradually uncontrollable. skin walker books iam looking for
My personal all time favorite adult urban fantasy series is Karen Marie Moning's Fever Series. The first book is Darkfever. (At least the original 5 books are. I haven't read all the subsequent novels.) It is an adult romance with adult content. But it's more of a slow burn as the characters don't get together in the first couple books. I love Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark series which was mentioned above. It's definitely an adult series. Steamy! If you like audiobooks get this series in audio. Robert Petkoff does a shiver worthy job with the male characters' voices.
And if you are looking for adult romance vampires, JR Ward is queen of that realm if you ask me with her Black Dagger Brotherhood series.
You could try Eve Langlais. She has an alien mate series that is pretty hot. She also uses a lot of humor in her writing. It's not to everybody's taste, but I enjoy her writing a lot.
We have the same taste! My very favorite series of all time would be a tie between Kresley Coles Immortals After Dark and Karen Marie Monings Highlander Series, I do love KKMs Fever Series, the "slow burn absolutely tortures me! lol..I also loved A Discovery Of Witches by Deborah Harkens and Gabriels Inferno by Sylvain Reynard (which turns into The Raven)..I did like JR Wards series, and maybe need to revisit it, I didn't love it as much as others did, but only read the 1st 2 books
Other than the ones already mentioned, these authors have some pretty good relationship/sex scenes:Juliette Cross
Rebecca Zanetti
Paige Tyler
Lara Adrian
Karen B, YES!! KMM and KC are so good! I did love the highlander series too, just didn't beat out Fever for me. I feel ya with BDB. The first two were fine, nothing super special for me. It was book 3 that I just loved. It's the one I go back to from time to time. (I didn't care for book two very much, but it begins the build up for book 3.)
I'm going to check out the others you mentioned! I've had a prolonged break from reading anything new for a long time with a project I've been working on, but I'm going to put them on my TBR. Thanks lady!!
Thank you all so much! I am going to check them all out, and keep them coming so I can keep reading them. :D

Dark Cravings is a small series, meaning 2.5 books. Madeline Pryce writes very good but hasn’t done anything more recently.
Steal the Sun by Lexi Blake is also a good series, but it’s more on the adult smut side of things so be aware. Now Suzanne Wright is one of my hated but loved author. Some how this self published author snuck into my book shelf without even me knowing about it. I usually loath self published author, mainly because I think there should be a warning lable on them, “Some Assembly Required.” But Suzanne Wright is one of the few exceptions to that rule.
Feral Sins. Is the start of one series. The Book divides later on to include the Mercury Pack series. Those two series are intertwined with each other.Wright also has
Here Be Sexist Vampires which was one of the first books of hers I fell in love with. And she also has
Burn which for the most is good but has become a bit repetitive lately. Laurann Dohner
Justice has her New Species series which many like. I do to but it gets really repetitive after a while. I actually prefer her
His Purrfect Mate but she hasn’t been back to that one in a while. She only wrote three books for that one so far.One other thing, Kresley Cole has another series, The Arcana Chronicles.
Poison Princess this is not the book it appears to be at the beginning. It’s misleading. By chapter 13 the paradigm of the story changes and you find yourself in a dystopia book. Further and it changes into a Paranormal/UF book. You just have to get past the contemp portion at the beginning. Here is a link to her book trailer for book two of that series that sums the whole story well. http://www.thearcanachronicles.com Also all Cole’s book should be at your library. That’s a few more for you. Hope this helps.

I love many of the same authors that have already been recommended, but these are some of my additional top choices from the pnr/uf bunch. These series all have fascinating plots and steamy romance with actual sex scenes.
Heart of Darkness by Lauren Dane(Bound by Magick #1)
Darkness Dawns by Dianne Duvall(Immortal Guardians #1)
Jacob by Jacquelyn Frank(Nightwalkers #1)
If you're in the mood for more of an epic or dark fantasy-romance instead of all the vamps and shifters typically found in paranormal, I'm currently reading a series that reminds me a bit of Daenerys Targaryen from "Game of Thrones" when she won the loyalty of the Dothraki and became their Khaleesi. I'm seriously loving this series so far! It's so sexy and fierce! It's also available with Kindle Unlimited if you have it.
BloodLust by Auryn Hadley(Rise of the Iliri #1)
UPDATE:I have thus far read the Wicked series by Jennifer L. Armentrout and about 3 books into the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning.
The Wicked series was what I am looking for. Good action/fantasy/romance combo.
The Fever series is a bit too slow burn for me since I like romance as a main theme in books (still enjoyed it tho, just not what I was looking for)
Hi, I'm also looking for adult orinated (don't know if I spelled that right lol) epic fantasy books. I read Rise of the iliris but didnt like it. If anyone can suggust other books that would be great and thanks!
I always recommend Darynda Jones Charlie Davidson series which I think is fantasy. Also I recommend Gini Koch's Alien or Katherine Kitty Kat series. That one is SciFi but still adult and fantasy.

Hopefully Osh and Beep will find true love.

Maybe that counts?
What about these series?
Wildest Dreams by Kristen Ashley(Fantasyland #1)
Maiden Flight by Bianca D'arc(Dragon Knights #1)
Daughter of the Blood by Anne Bishop(The Black Jewels #1)
Warprize by Elizabeth Vaughan(Chronicles of the Warlands #1)

I have
Dark Cravings that I can loan out to you (ebook). And anything Kresley Cole
Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night you can get at most libraries. They can get pretty pricy. But for epic, Kresley Cole is definately the way to go. Down load the sample pages to see if it works for you. If you have an audible account, I’d also recommend those Robert Petkoff is an awesome, mostly god like, for a narrator.
You could try Emma Hamm and Grace Draven both of whom are very well respected high fantasy romance authors and have more than one series each. Also, for urban fantasy, have you tried the Alpha and Omega series by Patricia Briggs and the Night Huntress world books by Jeanine Frost?
Melanie wrote: "Hi, I'm also looking for adult orinated (don't know if I spelled that right lol) epic fantasy books. I read Rise of the iliris but didnt like it. If anyone can suggust other books that would be gre..."Yes Grace Draven,
is a really good fantasy romance.
Just an FYI, since it pertains to this discussion, Lexi Blake's Thieves series is on sale, right now they're free.. At least the first two books are.
Steal the Light
Steal the Dayhttps://www.amazon.com/Thieves-Books-...
They're adult Fantasy/Paranormal theme.
If you like shifter books, Aidy Award has an dragon shifter series that would fit the bill. https://www.goodreads.com/series/224931 (I wish I knew how to post the covers like you guys do.)
Sierra wrote: "If you like shifter books, Aidy Award has an dragon shifter series that would fit the bill. https://www.goodreads.com/series/224931 (I wish I knew how to post the covers like you guys do.)"I think it can only be done on the desktop version, I don't use the mobile app.
When you post a comment there is text above the box 'add book/author' if you click on that, type in the name of the book you want then search. At the bottom of the search box there is an option to post the link only or the cover so you can choose whichever you want. Then and when the book you are looking for pops up click to add.

[book:Stea..."Nice on the Steal the light, I wanted to buy the book but I kept holding off. Score!
The Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews is one of my favorites. So is The Phoenix Pack by Suzanne Wright. She also did a spin-off series, Mercury Pack.
The Kitty Orville series by Carrie Vaughn is also adult, I haven’t read the entire series though, only the first book.

So many good suggestions here but I can't believe no one has mentioned Sarah J Maas. She has 3 high fantasy, female driven, epic sex series. Classified as YA, but holy... would never let my daughter read them... lol.. very very steamy. Series - A Court of Thorns and Roses, Throne of Glass series and her latest which only has 2 books currently - and not my favourite as she moves into modern times - The House series which start with Cresent City. The other author I am currently enjoying is C. L. Wilson - she has a 5 book series Tarien Soul which is pretty great. No where near as much sex as Sarah J Maas but still some great story development and strong characters.
Jennifer wrote: "So many good suggestions here but I can't believe no one has mentioned Sarah J Maas. She has 3 high fantasy, female driven, epic sex series. I saw Kresley Cole's IAD series mentioned...
And CL Wilson the shifter series -- also want to give a shout out to
The Winter King (ignore the cover!) it's a fun one.But cautioning you against the 2nd in the series
The Sea King , that one was not so good... I liked this series Forgotten Brotherhood by NJ Walters -
Fury Unleashed And then there's JD Tyler's series that begins with
Primal LawIn case you haven't already found those.
Watching this thread to see what other fun suggestions come up!
Few of my fav NA/Adult Fantasy Books (aren't paranormal though)The Plated Prisoner Series
What lies Beyond The Veil
The North Wind
^ the same author also did another series called Collector.
When it comes to urban fantasy authors, I'm always a big fan of Ilona Andrews and Patricia Briggs.

Did you read Sarah J Maas already? If not, try the Crescent City series, some pretty hot scenes in there.

I would want to ask you for some recommendations. I've been reading a lot of fantasy romance lately and I was wondering is any of you could tell me about series that have a more mature romance aspect to it, that the characters actually have sex, so to say. I don't mean full on erotica, more in the lines of the Vampire Academy and Bloodlines (doesn't have to be vampire related btw) books, where they build up to it and it really adds to the depth of the romantic relationship. I also wouldn't mind something more adult in general, but that isn't a must.
If you need more information on what I'm looking for, let me know. Thank you for your time!
