It was riveting and scary and I felt I was right there with Sean trying to keep Hunter alive and knowing that his wounds were more than Sean could manage. The desperation and fear all felt so very real. It was just as exciting as the op action scenes.
I agree, Anita. My heart was pounding just like it was during the ops they were on. When Sean used gum wrappers to try and hold off the inevitable, I was shocked. And every time Hunter was struggling to breathe, so was I. That scene felt so realistic to me.
I’m with both of you. The interior of that limo was so vivid in my mind as well as Sean’s efforts to save Hunter. And, I could see Khalia desperately holding on to him, willing him to hang on. Cross really does excel at writing action scenes.
