The Liberal Politics & Current Events Book Club discussion

Anybody out there still that wants to discuss politics and current events? I hope so! There's so much going on; where to start?!

I'm always interested in talking politics. The problem with this group is that it's without a moderator. Nobody is around to generate discussions. Maybe you would like to do it, Kathy. It would be great if this group got going again.

Good decision or bad decision? Trump threatening to impose duties on Mexican imports if Mexico doesn't stop Central American immigration. If this is a reelection ploy will it actually help him to get votes? Looking at it from here in Mexico, U.S. business could be a loser.

There was a backlash from Republican senators because it would be bad for business. He had to save face by signing an agreement that had already been agreed on for the most part.
