Update: If the series contains the word "mountain" that would also work to double points. :)

message 11: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments I’m working on deciding what to read. Anyone else know what they’re going to start with?

I'm going to start with A Whisper of Hope

Liz F. (liz429) Hey everyone! :D

message 14: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 1386 comments I just started The Golden Bride (Daughters of the Mayflower #8) by Kimberley Woodhouse which will carry me over to March. Also plan to read The Bride of Ivy Green (Tales from Ivy Hill, #3) by Julie Klassen which should work to double the pages.

message 15: by Angie (new)

Angie Thompson (angiethompson) | 338 comments I'm not sure where I'm going to start, but I've identified several B titles/authors already on my list to prioritize. ;)

I have both of those books on my TBR. Hope you love them! :D

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments I have a few B books picked out for page doubling...
Cape Refuge (Cape Refuge, #1) by Terri Blackstock Shadows of the Past (Logan Point #1) by Patricia Bradley Brentwood by Grace Livingston Hill

And something by Cyrus Townsend Brady or B.M. Bower, most likely.

I'd also like to get to Holiday Hideout (Rose Mountain Refuge #2) by Lynette Eason for mountain, if I can.

Maybe Guide Me Home by Kim Vogel Sawyer for Kentucky

message 18: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 1386 comments @Melanie - so far really enjoying The Golden Bride.

message 19: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments Sorry for being dense...what is the significance of “B” novels?

message 20: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments For Black Mountain: B title, B author, or B main character:)

message 21: by Staci (new)

Staci | 1071 comments Thanks Hannah!

They are one of the ways to double page values for the current mountain.

message 23: by Hannah (last edited Mar 01, 2019 07:51AM) (new)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments Finished up my first, a non-double book I started yesterday. :)

message 28: by Audrey (new)

Audrey Grant (audoneinak) | 14 comments A Woman of Fortune (Texas Gold, #1) by Kellie Coates Gilbert A Woman of Fortune

Pages: 351

Read: Mar. 2, 2019

Review: Perceptive, Very inciteful and more easily true than many of us would like to think... Not the riches so much as the ease of getting lost, in life, in our walk with God, in right decision making. I could almost wish I had read this book over 20 years ago...

Audrey Grant

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments Audrey, nice job! Don’t forget to post in our review thread also. :)

Sarita | 1386 comments We only need 500 more pages to reach the top of the first mountain...

message 31: by Brittany (new)

message 34: by Hannah (new)

Hannah (bookwormhannah) | 1527 comments Great job! I’ll focus on reading Holiday Hideout today since a mountain title will be double no matter the call. :)

message 46: by Liz F. (new)

Liz F. (liz429) Question... when it says "pages read during the challenge" does that mean the entire challenge or just that specific mountain?
