I think this season was my favorite one so far because I had 11 books that were 5 stars for me. That is unusual for me, but I had so much fun with them. I would recommend all of these. The Yearling
Rise of the Evening Star
Dolores Claiborne
When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice for Difficult Times
The Way Back to Heaven
Find a Way
If You Find Me
The Five Languages of Apology: How to Experience Healing in All Your Relationships
Homer's Odyssey
The Assassin's Blade
Spark: The Revolutionary New Science of Exercise and the Brain
I listened to The Lightning-Struck Heart by T.J. Klune narrated by Michael Lesley. It was laugh out loud funny.Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli narrated by Shannon Purser. I think the excellent work by the narrator is what made me enjoy this book so much. I actively hated the main character and I can't recall another book I enjoyed so much while disliking the MC. I did think the author portrayed the life a teen very well.
My five stars:The Passage planning on the sequel for the Spring Challenge
These two were both sweet quick holiday stories that I needed this year.
The Deal of a Lifetime
The Romance of a Christmas Card
So many good ones just in January alone! There, There by Tommy Orange, Circe by Madeline Miller, The Friend by Sigrid Nunez, and Doc by Mary Doria Russell.
i discovered Brandon Sanderson through listening to Steelheart for the superhero listopia task - and i've gone on the finish up the trilogy over the last month.also really enjoyed Saving Meghan (50 point task).
funnily enough many of my favorite books for the last few months were ones that i couldn't fit into tasks (which always sucks!)
I had a few great 5 star readsThe Red Tent
Cutting for Stone(will definetly be in the top ten for 2019)
A King's Ransom
The White Darkness
My 5 star reads:The Gift of Rain
The Girl Who Came Home
Educated
Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI
Left For Dead
I did have some excellent reads Pride and Prejudice my umpteenth reread
The Winter Rose
When All Is Said
Les Misérables
and i was reintroduced to Nevil Shute

I love Pride & Prejudice too....and Les Mis is one of my all time favorites. I think I need to reread that one...and Count of Monte Cristo.
