MARCH || THE SECRET HISTORY
I missed February's read because I am STILL finishing The Passage (amongst other reads) but I am keen to join in on this one
Ok it’s been on my TBR, it seems like my kind of book in every way, but I struggled so HARD and finally DNF’d Donna Tartt’s other book The Goldfinch...so yes, I’m scared lol
I really wanted to join this month in the big book club, but this kind of books isn’t for me. I hope I will be with you all next month!! 🙌🏼 good luck!
I read this one last year so I'll be joining in the discussion! I'm excited to see what everyone thinks of it.
I'm planning to pick it up! (Never done a group reading session before but this was a book I was going to read anyway - the fates aligned)
I read it last year and couldn’t bring myself to continue after page 110. I had the same problem with The Goldfinch. I’ll give it another shot though, but I’m not sure if I’ll feel all that differently about it :’)
I might join in the second half of the month since I have to wait for my library copy... So probably not gonna finish it in March
Will join definitely, have wanted to read it for a long time now. Excited, but also nervous I might not like it.
I'll joint, it was in my TBR for long time, I think it's time to pick it up.I don't think I can finish it in March but I'll try my best.
I’ll definitely try to join in on this one! But I have to request it from my library so I might not get it until the end of the month but it’s been on my TBR for years! I’m excited to read it.
I'll definitely join in on this one :) I've been curious about it for years and I love twisted characters.
Wow this is already on my march tbr! I'm so happy cause this will give me that extra push to finally read it
I skipped Jan, but did Feb, and now I am excited to try March’s. I won’t get it from my library until Mar 20th though :/ Can I even read this one in 10 days?! Haha, a little nervous.
I tried listening to the audiobook narrated by the author a while back but I couldn't do it. The author's speaking didn't really match the tone of the novel in my opinion.
I put a request in at my library this morning and it's already in transit, so I should get it soon. Now, to work it in with the other goodies on my tbr...
I plan on joining too! My book is in transit so hope to start it soon. I have read the other two big book challenges so far and it has been a parade of three stars so we will see where this one lands for me.
If your library has Hoopla, the audiobook is available there! I highly recommend it (I turned the speed up to 1.25, it didn’t change her cadence at all but helped it go by a bit faster :) )

I have a lot on my tbr this month and was a smidge nervous to fit this in, so this will help.
I'm joining this month and scared out of my mindI've been staring at this book on my shelves for YEARS
Already read this, but I might just pick up another book by her as a fill-in for this. I loved the secret history, even though (or maybe because) it’s pretty slow paced and everyone’s sooo pretentious.
This book has been on my TBR shelf for forever. Glad to finally have the motivation to pick it up and read it.
I bought this book along with many others a while back, and it got buried in my never ending TBR. Moving it to the top of my list!
I read it in college a few years ago for a creative writing class. I liked it! The characters are really interesting and it's fun to analyze. Can't wait to hear what everyone else thinks.
I'm so excited you're reading one of my all time favorite books this month!! can't wait to see what you guys think of it (maybe I'll even read it again)
I'm definitely joining in, according to the premise and everything I know about it it seems like it's going to be a great experience, I don't feel intimidated by it if all I think it's the least intimidating of the pile, The Passage though that's an intimidating read.
Miranda wrote: "Audible is telling me it’s gonna take 22 hours to read... I hope it’s worth it ;)"I listened to the whole thing on my trip from South Carolina to Florida, which is about 8 hours, so it shouldn't take that long but I did have the narration sped up a bit
yes, I will be joining! Was planing to read this last year but failed and now I have a compelling reason to pick it up. Also, I'm starting late (it's the 3rd of March now) so I am going to have to work hard to finish it this month.
Joining too. I found the book in the public library. I hope I'll be able to understand and enjoy the writing in English!

I wanted to listen to it as an audiobook and read it so I can finish it faster but her voice didn't fit at all. I feel like a manly fancy voice would fit lol
This will be my first time doing a read along 🤗I just ordered my copy....I hope I dont get too behind 😅
Two of my coworkers told me they loved it and said that it seems like my kind of book so I picked it up right away (I work at my local library and it was on the shelf. lol).Haven't started yet, but will probably in the middle of the month.
I read The Secret History last summer and i really enjoyed it! It kept me engaged and turning the page, you guys are in for a treat!
This is one of my favorite books of all time! So I won't be doing the read along, but I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone thinks of it!
This is one of the books that's been on my TBR the longest, so I'm definitely joining! I'm nervous, but excited :)
Finished book one (which is about half of the whole book) and really liked it, I hope second half is just as good.
Picked it up today and started it. While I enjoy thrillers, I haven't read much mystery, so it should be interesting.
finished. I think I would have loved this in my early twenties. Kind of reminds me of Cruel Intentions in some strange way... But still a solid 4

Who else is nervous? :P
