Books in the Freezer discussion

Thoughts on chapters 5-9 of Walkers. Do you have any predictions? What are you enjoying about the book at this point?

Ok so I’m just going to jump right in...
I wish I could like Jack but I can’t seem to accept that he:-
1. Kisses Karen in front of Randy;
2. Took Randy to the big haunted country club (where there was potentially an evil child catcher) at night;
3. Left him there (I don’t care that people were getting smooshed into the walls - You can’t leave without your son!)
However - back to the smooshing... its pretty awesome to be fair!
I think the writing is atmospheric and love how locations are described.
I’m not going to hate it if Jack gets sacrificed at the end.

I agree. I couldn't believe it when he took Randy there in the middle of the night!
