Divergent for sure, the first movie was okay but it just went downhill from there. They just made up a whole other plot and ignored what the book was actually about for some reason. And even though I like Shailene Woodley, she's nothing what Tris should have looked like because Tris was NOT beautiful and skinny.
There is no movie in the world worse thank Percy jackson. PERIOD!

It had nothing to do with the book and I feel they cut out parts in the film they shouldn't have, like visiting the fringe, or the explanation of certain characters. The movie lost it for me.
Also, I want to say that I wouldn't have chosen Theo James to play Four, he looks nothing like the books describe him, and as much as I love Theo, I wished they had casted another actor.
The newest version of Pet Sematary was pretty disappointing. The biggest flaw with the 1989 film, besides the dated special effects, was that it was too short and didn't really delve into what the burial ground actually was. When I saw they were remaking it I got really excited thinking it was going to be a long big-budget epic like the IT remake. Nope. Hour and forty minutes tops, and it actually had FEWER of the story elements of the original King novel. I was deeply disappointed and only glad that I didn't pay money to see it in the theater. (I originally intended to, but then my cat died so I couldn't watch anything with a dead animal in it for a while.)
I support the comment made about Divergent!!!! I didn't love book three of the series, but book 1 was amazing and 2 was decent. The first movie was a total mess and I refused to watch after that..... UGH
The Mortal Instruments show and movie tried, but in my opinion failedm It could of been better, but Hollywood dosen't care.
My daughter asked me to mention Cirque du Freak. She watched that movie about ten years ago and still isn't over it.
Eragon, out of context, the movie isn’t terrible, the affects are decent. But watching as from someone who adores the books it’s quite horrendous.
Also the 5th wave is a junk movie compared to the book or not it focuses wayyyyyy to much on the love story and not the nightmare fuel post apocalyptic vibe that the books have.
Twilight!!! I love the Twilight book series, the first one is my favourite book in the whole series. The Twilight movie in itself is good for what it is but the book is far superior in my opinion.
Can I just say that every time I'm cruising through the discussion topics and see this ones title I laugh. EVERY TIME! And it's been 2 years! lol

After adoring the books by Paolini, the Eragon movie was a definite disappointment. If I consider the movie as separate from the books it would be an alright film, but knowing and loving the novels made me disappointed in how much was left out in the movie.
yes I agree on Divergent after the first oneand Vampire academy..don't get me started with the film adaptation

This has been on my list for basically FOREVER and I've even had it on hold from the library once. But I still haven't read it. Might need to make it my goal during my break from social media to finally give it a go!

Hands down the Miss Peregrines movie. It was, I apologize, horrible. They changed too much! I had to make sure that I was watching the same movie once the credits were rolling. -10/10The books on the other hand were amazing.
It’s not out yet, but ‘The selection’. I really didn’t even like the book itself to much, yet I can confirm the teaser SUCKED. The girls hair color wasn’t even the same color and that was the main part!

I would say, for me, that would be Watership Down (2018) since I'm a huge fan of the original novel and I wasn't too pleased with the 2018 adaptation for various reasons or the Tuck Everlasting adaptation.
