What happens when two guys and a dashing girl meet? Beats me, but it doesn't sound romantic. Or does it? Depending on your definition of romantic, Doona's sadistic ways might be the most romantic thing a guy could want!

** A bit slow but a dominating female woman almost perfectly executed.

I spend my nights playing games, reading and talking to my friends. If you're like me, pajamas and light snacking (ice cream, cookies, pudding, you name it) are around the corner. Sadist Beauty is a fun read, with the theme a strong female domination. I personally fell in love with Doona as wanting to have control over certain aspects in my life as she does. It is a bit refreshing to read about a strong female character wanting something and getting it no matter what. She is no pushover, not taking things lightly, with a few awkward moments and shows vulnerability from time to time.

In my opinion, it isn't as sadistic as the title suggests. It has comical relief as well as it mature BDSM and sexual depictions but nothing to graphic or disturbing (until recently around chapter 45). Its sexy, funny, fresh as usually the male is the dominant figure in many story and here you have Doona whom dominates men and women. Many characters have flawed personalities and are trying to figure out their lives including the main characters. I've read a few smuts and comparing it to friends, Sadistic Beauty is tastefully written and drawn compared to others. Hopefully after seeing a bit of background to certain characters, we may get better glimpses to how the mature and how this could change the story. Seeing that the tone of the manhwa has become more "dark" in recent chapters, I hope the story remains as enjoyable as it has been!
