I just finished Sea Glass and I was wondering if we are going to learn more about the Bloodrose clan in the next book?

:( I checked and you don't have a Borders within 100 miles. Poor you! Practically every one of our stores has it, and early.

Do you go to a local indie bookstore? (and what is it called, I'm fascinated by them)

No I go to Books-A-Million. Its a big bookstore. Not as big as B&N or Borders but still pretty big.

Ah, I've never had the pleasure of going to one. We had a Bassett Books in Jersey when I was a kid. Then I think Borders bought it :/

I might just have to order it but I just made a huge order D: I'll wait till august 25th, the actual release date and if they still don't have it I'll be like 'yo guys! I need this book..you have no idea' lol

Sightings of SEA GLASS remind me of sightings of Elvis ;> I heard Amazon shipped them out early and many bookstores have it on their shelves....except BAM, according to one annoyed customer *cough* Kyle *cough* :)

I wish everyone would at least wait until the 25th - it's better for my numbers ;>

As for the reason for this post...Yes, the Bloodrose clan will come back in SPY GLASS.

I can't wait to come see you to get my book signed when you come over in Jan, at least now i won't have to wait that long to read the book although i might have to buy a new copy as i will no doubt read my copy to death!

Just as well Mindy is helping as i can't enter the contests! Although i have a great image in my head of a scene in Sea Glass which i would love to sketch if i could draw!

Kimberly, All book sales count and thank you for buying the book! :) It's just if everyone buys the book in the same week, I might hit the New York Times Bestseller list again :) If it's spread out, then I won't - but it all counts!!

However, if you like to buy one for a friend - this week would be good - LOL ;>

LOL! Well I feel really stupid- this whole time I've been anxiously waiting for Sept 1 and now I find out you can get it EARLY! :D :D

My Borders doesn't have it yet. When I asked they said they expect it to arrive by mid-September! I pre-ordered it and then went online and found the e-book will be available Sept. 1, so I pre-ordered it as well. One to read Sept. 1 and a physical copy for my collection! Hope e-books count toward your sale numbers Maria!

Why was Janco more involved in Sea Glass and Storm Glass than Ari? I loved reading stories about both of them and I am hoping we see some upcoming books about them! :-)

Jennifer - Janco escorted Opal home for a couple reasons. I needed Opal to have a friend and I thought having both Ari and Janco would be too much focus on them and not on her. And Ari is the smart one who obeys orders- if he had seen the message from the Council, he would have taken them all to the Citadel. And it's harder to get into trouble with both Ari and Janco with you - if it's just Janco, the possibilities are endless ;>

Kyle- Dang that's really lame. Do you live in a smaller city or is it you're bookstore isn't that up-to-date with its new books?

I live in an slightly larger than average city..were one of the largest communties in Alabama..the book store is just really slow at getting SEA GLASS for some reason...

Normally, they get books EARLIER than normal...Im very disappointed in them. REally I should've just gone to Montgomery and gone to the Barnes and Noble, but I was giving BAM some time. :P

EDIT: They got it in while I was in Disney World :D I just finished Catching Fire by Collins so now on to SEA GLASS :D

I just picked mine up, but I didn't even start reading the "Study" books til Sep 1st.

I have not even got the book yet, everything has been so crazy that I lost track of the release date (can you believe that!!) As soon as I am able to leave the house and be with people again (class as demanded all my time lately) I will be getting this book. Oh wait.. I can get it on e-book can't I? I thought I read a post that said it was out on e-book. Ummm.... OK must go find e-book now, bye.

Ok so im about 2/3rds of the way through the book and i am loving it so far.

OMG Alethea - your in the book!!!!! Did you know you were going to be in it? That's so cool and you own a book shop.

I smiled when I saw Aletha's name in the book, that was pretty cool.
I finished Sea Glass in less than a day, I was trying to stretch it out so I wouldn't have to find something else so soon. Guess it doesn't help that I put off doing other things to finish it up either!

^_^ Yes, I knew! I wanted it to be a surprise for the people who know me so I didn't tell anyone until it came out. Yep, that's me! And I *wish* I owned a book shop, it would be such a cool place!

Alethea if you did own a bookshop I would so come to visit, just like I hope to go to other tourist attractions, it would be So COOL!!! You could name it something like Sitia books, and you could have a little cafe with criollo and coffee LOL, I loved that part of the book too, I laughed and my husband asked me why and I told him that you were over Study Buddies, he thought that was cool, but didn't seem as excited as I was about that part.

^_^ That would be awesome! Criollo and coffee, it doesn't get much more Sitian than that :)

That's really weird cause i'm from france and I've been able to buy it from amazon (thank god!!) so I don't see why in England you can't get it!!
