What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I’m 85% sure this book was mass published and not a self published book. Read it three or more years ago. Book is based in a very uncharted jungle area with only local tribes near by. The book is primarily about a girl who is a science experiment though unaware of how badly. She has super strength if I remember is very strong and pretty. She has a panther that is either an experiment as well or a pet. She has full run of the facility except for a few areas. She ends up escaping with a tribe member I think.

I think that the book you're looking for is Origin Corpus #1 by Jessica Khoury. It's been awhile since I read this book, but I think the main character has a pet panther.
