You will find this comment of mine a bit useless but I follow Great Legend KRK for his funny movie reviews :-D & SDE entertainment for their Animated Movie spoofs :-)
I do! I spend more watching YouTube than I do watching Tv. I don't have any one favorite youtuber...I follow all the big ones (well, not the REALLY big ones) and I follow a lot of booktubers too.
I'm so glad this dicussion exists!
I follow 1)TVF channel for satire videos..I feel they are the best in India in the satire genre..2)I also follow 'equals 3' by ray William Johnson.. he makes fun of tending videos on YouTube..
I also follow assortment of music and educational channels .. but I regularly visit 'coke studio' ,'crash course' by 'john green' (I knew him before the TFIOS craze.) and 'khan academy'...
I follow some of the booktubers on youtube (Perseus Project, read susie read among others). I also watch a few of Superwoman's videos and I recently came across a duo who do satirical/funny reviews of movies they've watched. I think it's called pretentious movie reviewers.
@pooja I also did watch it..it was hilarious.. didn't know such movies existed.. v friends even planned to watch those movie during 'movie night'.
Haha Superwoman ..That Does sound Lame, so will for sure Check it out ;-) BTW.What is Booktubers ? Things like this make me feel as If I am living under a Rock.

Prity wrote: "Haha Superwoman ..That Does sound Lame, so will for sure Check it out ;-) BTW.What is Booktubers ? Instead of writing blogs, they put up videos on youtube.
Hi, that's awesome, Pooja... Let me know about all the cool booktubers ;)Prity, it sounds lame, but is the most funniest thing any Indian can see XP
Do watch her videos...
I wantvto check the movie duos. What exactly is their youtube name?

Pretenious Movie Reviews. I think it is uploaded under the username Kannan Gill.
Read Susie Read, ReadingBukowski, Little Book Owl, Peruse Project, Jesse The Reader, Mercy's Bookish Musings are a few of my favorite book-tubers. You can get linked to other book-tubers through the suggestions that Youtube usually gives. The community on youtube is massive, and there a lot of them that you could follow online.
Wow! So I found an old thread about YouTube videos. Read some of the comments in this thread and a lot of things have changed about YT since the last comment which was almost 7 years ago.

I used to watch TVF and other comedy channels like TSP and Timeliners but sadly their videos do not feel as funny as they used to. Bhuvan and Carry are also in that list. Some of the most funny series was Honest Restaurants by AIB but the AIB is dead after the me too movement. Tanmay has started a new channel and some of his videos are really funny.
I used to be obsessed with a youtuber named Shahveer Jafry, and his crew. But now... I don't really watch them. I like watching Dhar Mann sometimes, and I like Lilly Singh (BUT ITS banned at home!)Any good booktubers to follow?
Madiha wrote: "I used to be obsessed with a youtuber named Shahveer Jafry, and his crew. But now... I don't really watch them. His channel is Daniel Greene and he is sort of obsessed with fantasy books. Apart from him there is Vlogbrothers but they are not booktubers but the community is developed around books.
I don't follow any particular youtuber per say, I usually go to YouTube for learning. According to me it is a great platform for learning anything if you really hit the correct channel. I also watch many BookTube Channels as I have my own BookTube channel. Feel free to check out my channel and share your review !
my teen daughter would diligently follow murder and makeup till she didn't. its a retell on real life crimes.
Leena wrote: "my teen daughter would diligently follow murder and makeup till she didn't. its a retell on real life crimes."Murder and Makeup? Isn't it Mystery and Makeup?
Leena wrote: "Santosh its in Tamil?"Yeah. There are so many Booktube channels in English, so I thought why not share my reads and if possible inspire Tamils to read?
hey guys.. I always watch soo many Booktubers like Gabby, Books and lala.. but was sad to know there are very few Indian Booktubers.. after long consideration we started our own channel.. please check it out in the above link and any feedback is appreciated
