I am finally admitting to being an addict! My reading has been all over the map so I am hoping this will at least organize my book addiction.

Turkey 🇹🇷 The Gaze by Elif Shafak
I finished Her Mother's Mother's Mother and Her Daughters by Maria José Silveira
Not classified as romance it follows one line of female descendants from 1500 to 2000 in Brazil. Amazing writing that looks at the melting pot of Brazil. It includes all the political turmoil, brutality and slavery but it is written in a way that allows you to focus on the woman’s views in each section. You see traits move in and out of the family line, bravery, depression, hatred, vanity, love, loss....and so much more
So far my best read in 2019.
