I am not picking this up til later in the month, but still want to hear your thoughts along the way!

How are you liking the writing style?
What do you think about the characters?
Are you connecting with the story?

Halfway through this magical book. Am so enjoying the take on what a golem is. Beautiful story about family and love so far. “We save ourselves by saving others.”

I mean, I was drawn in by the first paragraph. Flew through the rest and missed posting here.

Forgot to check in here at the 1/2 way point but I love the writing style and historical aspect of this book. The dreams about the Sweep are just magical.

I also forgot to check in half way through. However, I thought the writing style was very engaging. I loved the characters, and connected with the story straight away.

Okay, I am reading this a little later than all of you. I just reached the halfway point and I am loving it. I think I will be able to finish it up in a day or two.

This book concludes my Middle Grade March TBR. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed participating. Thanks, Krista.
