Doka sniffed the ground. He was out hunting for the human rebels that lived not too far from here. He kept a look out for the mechanical dogs that might capture him and take him to the Organization. His ears pricked when he heard a small rustle that sounded like a squirrel.
Rixon happily rolled around on the ground, relieving himself of itches. He turned onto his stomach and started rubbing his snout with his paws in order to scratch them. When he was done he sat up and gave out loud, slow yawn.
Doka stopped suddenly. He had heard a yawn and now forgot about the squirrel. He walked quietly over to the spot. He sniffed the air and realized that it was a friendly. He walked out of the bushes and said, "Hello Rixon."
Rixon turned his head quickly to the side, "Doka!" He said happily as he got up and ran over to him. He looked down at the small dog with a smile. He bent down so his butt was in the air and his face was level with Doka's, "Whats up?" He asked as he waved his tail back and forth.
Faith took a step towards the Mountain looking around curiously. Hoping that they wouldn't be attacked by anything.
"Don't worry" Conner said. "I've been here many times. I've studied every tree and every animal" he said, smiling and looking around.
"Well" he said. "Not much action is in the rebel camp, I mean, other than patrols and onlookers, it just kind of spare time" he said. "I've never really introduced myself to anyone before, you would have to be the first"
"Yeah, You too, I'd always avoided people in the past, apart from my parents, But now" She said with a shrug.
"But now what?" He asked her, slyly, thinking of what she could of said afterwards.
"A friend hey?" He said, raising an eyebrow. "I didn't think we were going that far..." He joked to her, smiling at the same time.
"Anyway" he started. "Don't take what I just said to heart, I" he stumbled on the last bit. "I confided you as a friend too"
Faith nodded before stopping when she noticed animal tracks in the snow before she turned and started following them.
"Don't worry" he said. "Quite a few wolves go hunting here, not all are bad, some are part of the rebels" but he followed her, all the same.
He gave her a questioned look, but followed her. "And then there are elks, I've only seen one. Ever"
"I learned how to hunt them, for food, My parents taught me not to waste anything," Faith said as she followed the tracks.
"Have you got anything on you now?" He asked, pulling out a small cutting knife from the side of his boot. "I've just got this."
Faith stopped and lifted the leg of her pants and pulled a Jackal Knife from the sheath attached to her Combat Boot. She held it up for him to look at, It was wicked sharp and had two blades http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs70/f/201...
"Wow..." He said, eyeing it off. The knife that he had wasn't in his boot, that was just a spare. His real one was back at camp, but even faith's knife didn't compare to his. "Nice"
"Gift from my dad" She said admiring the blade, "I keep it with me, don't want someone to steal it." She explained.
"Understandable" he said, nodding his head. He heard a rustle from the bushes beside him, and he put his arm out to stop wraith from walking. He pointed to the bush, which made the noise again.
((Btw are you still going to leave the group?))
((Nah, not yet, I figured I'll give it a chance, And it's Faith))Faith nodded having heard the sound, she was ready.
((Cool, and sorry, autocorrect.))
"Be ready" he said, as he walked trough the bushes to a small clearing. There grazing on the grass was the animal. Half hidden from the bushes, he looked at Faith. "Now"

"Well done" Conner said, approaching the animal. He smiled at Faith, a genuine smile. "Do you want to take it back, or eat it here?" He asked her,
"We should take it back, Share it with the others," Faith said shrugging as she cleaned off the blade of her Jackal Knife carefully.
Conner grabbed some large leaves beside him, to help her with the cleaning of the knife. He grabbed the kill, and slumped it over his shoulder. "Let's head back then" he said.
((Yeah, I fell asleep too. Okay, you find a place and post, although there aren't many places))
Lost and trying to find his way around, Don had been hiding in the mountains trying to make sure that the government didn't get him. He had ran into the mountains in hopes that no one would find him, but also felt that his sanity was slowly starting to wear away. He was constantly paranoid and didn't know what to do anymore. He wanted to find a familiar face or at least some sort of civilization that wasn't a part of the government. Today was no different. He was searching for food hoping to find something without getting caught.
James made his way carefully through the mountains. Every weekend for the past few months, he and two others had searched a different part of the wilderness in search of the troops who had gotten captured on that fateful raid. The other two had long since given up, and that was why he was going it alone today. He knew his brother was tough, and that he could escape. He had to. Therefore, he must be somewhere, and he intended to find him. Every time he disappeared, his fellow rebels knew exactly where he was: combing the wilderness for some sign of his brother, and the rest of the troops.
Don managed to find some food feeling proud even though it was only a handful of fruit. He took it back to his cave feeling safe there since it was well hidden, but anyone could find it if they looked hard enough. The only thing that worried Don was that winter was coming soon, he could feel it. With the harsh winds, endless chills, and occasional snowflakes, Don knew that it wasn't far off. He wanted to get to shelter knowing that the cave wasn't going to cut it but also knew that if he left to abruptly someone would find him. Maybe he was paranoid or maybe he was overthinking it, but he couldn't go back there. Not after what they did to him to try and get him to talk.
James continued to pick his way cautiously through the wooded area, taking care to keep his eyes on the ground. All of a sudden, he spotted something: a footprint. A fresh footprint. Someone had been walking here recently. He didn't dare to allow himself to hope. Probably a rebel hunter, or a tracker from the Government, he told himself firmly. Still, he followed the footprints, until they led him to the mouth of a cave.
Don sat in the cave when he heard someone approaching. His heart raced getting anxious. Who was it? He crawled into the back of the cave as quietly as he could when he felt a twig snap under his foot. He held as still as he could knowing that whoever it was had heard him but he secretly hoped that the person would just think that it was an animal. The only weapon he had on him was a pocket knife. Nothing lethal, but it was enough to do some damage. He didn't want to have to use it, but was ready....just in case. He waited patiently wondering what was going to happen now.
James sank into a low crouch just outside the cave. If he wasn't careful, this wouldn't end well. It could be a bear in that cave... or a person. It could be anything, and he had to be ready. He whipped out his handgun, and kept his other hand resting on his other holster, just in case his right hand failed. He waited for a couple of seconds, then spun around quickly, standing in the middle of the entrance to the cave."Put your hands up," he commanded in his deepest voice, "-and come out slowly. No sudden movements." He then realized how utterly stupid he would look if it turned out to be something like a bunny.
Don heard the voice and felt his heart race a little. He had been caught! Hearing this person's voice didn't scare him for some reason, there was something familiar about it. He slowly started to crawl his way out of the cave, pocket knife ready, and slowly made his way to the entrance squinting. He couldn't see who it was standing there, but he stepped one foot out of the cave and stuck his free hand out to show that he was unarmed even though he still had the knife in his other hand. He snuck it into his pocket coming up with a plan when he was not out of the cave fully visible.
When James saw the man's face, his heart exploded with happiness for the first time in months. He smiled- a real, genuine smile- at the sight of his lost little brother emerging from the cave. He stepped closer to him."Don Barnes," he continued. "Get your sorry butt out here. I see that knife, y'know." He tried to sound stern, but his voice cracked.
Don looked up meeting the man's eyes to see that sure enough, it was James. A huge wave of relief went over him, "James! It's so good to see you!" he said unable to express how relieved he was to see him. It wasn't just someone he knew, it was his brother! And that made it all the more better.
James took a few quick steps towards his brother. "Yeah, man. Long time, no see, huh?" he asked. Not gonna cry. Nope. Not gonna happen. He put both of his guns away, and stuck out a hand to help his brother to his feet. "How'd you escape?"
Don took his hand and stood, "It wasn't easy, but your pocket knife sure came in handy," he said pulling it out of his pocket and waving it. "To be honest I'm not sure how I did it," he said. It was all such a blur and he just didn't want to think about that awful place anymore. "But what about you? Has everything been okay?" he asked knowing that James had been at the headquarters the whole time.
