Hello there! My name is Ray, or as some people call me Rayree.
My favorite genres are Humor, Contemporary, Young Adult, and sometimes Romance and Mystery.
All time favorite books have to include "The Westing Game", "Speak", "Holes" and "Tuesdays with Morrie"
I guess my favorite author is Mitch Albom, though I really only read 2 of his books. I just really like his writing style. I decided to join this book club because I wanted to read more books, what better way to do that than with friends!
Other things to note, I really like books that make me get emotional so there's that.

Hey guys! My name is Elaine or Animetears42 OR BookishOtaku. Yeeeeeaaah XD;;
My favorite genres are usually fantasy and romance (particularly the mass market paperback smutty romance ones. I HAVE NO SHAME XD)
Right now my favorite books are: "The Smoke Thief" by Shana Abe. The Lunar Chronicle Series by Marissa Meyer. The Razorland Trilogy by Ann Aguire. The Others series by Anne Bishop (currently on book 2 right now XD)
My favorite authors change constantly so I can't really say.
I'm willing to try to expand my horizons and explore new genres I haven't read before. It will be an exciting/interesting adventure!
Nice to meet everyone!

Hi my name is Nicole. I like general fiction. I joined because I want to read more and this seems like an excellent club and I look forward to seeing it progress.
May we have a great reading experience!!!

Okay, it’s my turn! My name is Kim(berly.) I’ve been a book nerd for as long as I can remember. Honestly (and sadly), I haven’t read as much books as I’d like and joining bibliotects might motivate me to read more!
I love contemporary, post-modern fiction, memoirs and essays. I also have a soft spot (see: guilty pleasure) for young adult novels. I also enjoy quite a few nonfiction books (if the subject is right for me.) I’m a journalism major so I also enjoy longform articles - though they are not books, I’d like you to know that anyway.
One of my favorite authors is JD Salinger. And, unsurprisingly, one of my favorite book is “Franny & Zooey.” A few books I couldn’t seem to put down recently were “The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao” by Junot Diaz and “The Art of Fielding” by Chad Harbach. I also love Sarah Dessen - I have all her books and I am always looking forward to her new ones.
My absolute favorite literary character is Hermione Granger and for the longest time, I aspired to be a know-it-all just like her. (Though some might argue that I can be one… Oops.) But I also adore the hell out of Atticus Finch. Both are just incredibly amazing characters - to me, at least.
I love to read but I’m incredibly picky. So forcing books (that I might not pick) upon me will probably do me good! I'm incredibly excited to be in this book group!

Fun, talking to new people and all that haha T.T XDMy name is Yuuki, y'all can call me Yuuki, I'm here at the request of one Gianna Limosnero (whom you should all know by now, and who will most likely post her intro after this if I beat her to it), and coz why the hell not? Book club might be fun (or not).
My favorite genres are near anything, but in particular fantasy, science fiction, fiction, historical fiction, dystopian stuff, apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic stuff, philosophy, young adult, and some mystery - but like I said, I read nearly anything.
My favorite authors are Orson Scott Card, Patrick Rothfuss, and Patrick Ness, and I highly recommend their books to all of you (and every other human in this world).
I have too many favorite books to list.
As for book-to-movie stuff, as of two days ago, The Giver is where its at. I would even go as far as to say that for me, the movie was BETTER than the book. But thats just me XD.
Other stuff about me (since you don't know me), I'm horrible at small talk in person, but I seem to do better with the whole not-in-person talking. I detest facebook and other social networking sites like it in general. And I've only met one other person who reads the same way I do (not Gia). So a whole group of bibliophiles should be interesting.
Anywho, that's enough out of me. Lets have a good time.
Hiya, I'm Liza. Favorite genres are fantasy, romance(when it isn't stupid) along with animal fiction and . Favorite book..that's hard, I tend to change my favorite a lot. I have a special place in my heart for the Warriors series by Erin Hunter.
I'm friends with Elaine so that's why I'm here in this bookclub. XD
Can't wait to read some books with you all! :)
Hey I'm Tiffany. Whoop whoop!I guess my favorite genres include: YA, Contemporary, Romance, Travel, and a sprinkle of manga that I've recently gotten into.
I've got tons of favorite books, but I'm just going to pick from the ones I've recently read. "The Night Circus" by Erin Morgenstern, "The Gemma Doyle Trilogy" by Libba Bray, "One Day" by David Nicholas, and "Stolen" by Lucy Christopher.
I don't really have a favorite author because I'm weird. Unless someone tells me to read the works of a certain author then I will occasionally indulge myself in their books. *cough* curse you John Green!!!
This is my second attempt at joining a book club. My first was at school and I couldn't find anyone to fill me in on what we were reading, but didn't stop me from getting credit. Anywayyy, I'm interested in reading some awesome books that I would never read on my own and hope I can keep up.
