Welcome, Simon, thank you for joining the group!
Congratulations on publishing your first book, it sounds like a great way to help children get through trauma. I am looking forward to reading it!

I absolutely loved this book and have read it 3 times already and am planning to read it again today! The concept is fantastic and well developed.
There is nothing I can really add to what the blurb says ... it is a collection of 9 short stories that helps children deal with or get rid of 'monsters' that have attached themselves, or that linger around the child, or in the case of one story, flutters around 2 girls' strained friendship.
Most of the children are 9 & 10 years old. Mr. Diaz has this as a children's story, but it is an important read for, well anyone really, and should be in various places that help people young and old overcome abuse, spoiled children, children who have switched schools and are having a difficult time adjusting, etc ... it is a fantasy and I put monsters in quotes, because they appear in various forms, such as, 'Tighteners,' 'Dragons,' & 'Bees' to name a few.
I am looking forward to reading more work by Mr. Diaz, as I am most impressed with, not only his background as a psychologist and helping children, but his creative imagination and way of creating great stories that one can relate to, and therefore benefit from.

In this book I decided to take some problems that I have found working with children, and describe them in the form of monster, to make them more interesting and easier to understand.
The protagonist is the same author that i have taken as a pseudonym, Dr. Alaz F. Raliget, who is a kind of therapist who, in nine short and easy-to-read stories, describe the characteristics of a particular monster, how to identify it and how to face it; In addition, little by little, more details of the world, his life and the monsters that he himself has had to face are revealed.
The book in the moment is only in spanish, buy i am in the process of translating it to english myself, and i am looking for native english speakers that would like to help me proofreading it.
Thank to everyone for the attention.
