Brooklyn
question
first up in my book club

Hi friends, recently I kind of started a book club with some girl friends, and I suggested Brooklyn to be our first read, mostly because of selfish reasons I've been meaning to read it, it's not very long, and the movie is available on Netflix to watch so that we can compare it.
Do you have any recommendations for book club reads? We're all young ladies somewhat/somehow politically involved but we want our book club to be diverse in topics and reads.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Hi, I'm in a book club, here are some books we have read over the last few years.
Bridge of Clay by Markus Zusak
A Man Called One by Fredrik Backman
The Healing by Jonathan Odell
Ordinary Grace by Willian Ken Krueger
Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
The Invention of Wing by Sue Monk Kidd
In the unlikely Event by Judy Blume
All thought provoking, good for discussion. Good luck !
