The Portrait of a Lady by Henry JamesOr really anything by James if you want to tweak my nomination. I'm sadly lacking in James, having only read Daisy Miller, Washington Square, and The Turn of the Screw. It would be great to take on something longer with a group.

I am giving you an open nomination.
There has been some discussion about possibly extending the groups timeline and though what the "official" cut off date should be has not yet been determined bearing this in mind I may be willing to allow nominations for books that were published later than 1910.
So you can keep that in mind while nominating.
One nomination per person please. You will have until the end of the month.
