Why Christianity? discussion

Christians, who should have a lot to debate in this era of increasing idol worship, seem to have lost their voice - at least on this board. When the prevailing wisdom of an entire American political party revolves around simple nature worship, those of us who should be witnessing for Christ obviously aren't trying very hard or just aren't getting through. The world MAY end in a dozen years, but only if God allows it. Are the foolishly egotistical (both young and old), so brazenly self-deluded that they actually feel THEY alone have the fate of earth in their hands. No responsible scientist I know is forecasting THE END at all except by mutually assured destruction of nuclear forces. Are the liberals getting their knowledge from the same researcher that claimed the spotted owl could only survive in old growth forests? (I personally saw one nested in an abandoned warehouse in Portland).

Yep, I tried numerous ways to interest Christians in exploring a variety of topics. I’m still game. I just assume everyone would rather watch Netflix
