In the end, Holly gets away with murder? Your thoughts about that ending?

It was a very neat ending and I think that Holly should have charged with murder.

Holly got away with murder. I actually believe she delivered the fatal blow.

She’s in Jane’s sights and if this series continues, I'm sure we haven’t seen the last of her.

Yes, very chilling when this happens. There seems to be a suggestion that we haven't seen the last of Holly. Perhaps Gerritsen will have her get her comeuppance after all.

Holly was only 10 at the time of the murder so she would not have been charged even though she was clearly aware of what she did and that it was wrong.

Good point about her age, Lauren. But, I think she enjoyed killing Susan. It’s whet her appetite.

Yes, I agree that she enjoyed killing her. It gave her a sense of power that she did not have before. That said, as a sociopath, she would not kill anyone unless it suited her purposes. For example, she doesn't kill Martin herself but arranges for her father to actually do it.

If Gerritsen continues this series, we will see her again.
