Megan Cinquini This book was funny and fast passed which kept me interested. I felt that because the main character, Dimple was a similar age to myself that it made it easier to follow and relate to the subject matter in her life. When I started this book I thought it was interesting to read about a family who had a variation of arranged marriages, or suggested marriage partners? I didn't know this was still relevant in many cultures. I had heard of friends and families who believed in this but it wasn't very common. Getting to know each character and digging into their lives and seeing the relationship kindle with Dimple really hit my feelings. This book was so cute and light and fun that I had such a quick time reading it. I liked how they began to learn to be with one another and put work into their relationship and I think that's something a lot of people can model off of because they were practically forced in a way to learn to love one another. I think because Dimple was so similar to many of us at that age it made it easier to read and follow along despite the culture differences I have with her we had many similar things. We all go through heart break, deal with family struggles, and even friendship troubles especially at a young age. This is a book I can see myself putting down for a while and reading again later and remembering all the fun and funny parts that make the book so fun to read. I am glad I chose this book despite knowing so little about it.
