What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I'm looking for a book. It is scifi/paranormal and about psychic/cursed people who if they're caught with abilities, they get sent to some sort of prison camp type thing. Think there was a romantic subplot but I'm not entirely sure.
I read the book between 2011-2015 but think it was a bit older than that.
Please help me find the book again because it was awesome
