What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I remember reading this book in 2006 or 2007. This devout farmer/rancher loses his wife in childbirth. He can’t get his baby to eat. I think the women he goes to for help was the town prostitute maybe? Or she had a baby but no man so she ends up feeding both babies I don’t know if they got married and moved to a farm/ranch or she just went with them but he was very much into church and has a great relationship with God while she doesn’t. One of the children ends up gettin stung by a bee or wasp and I think dies. Eventually she finds God and the faith that he has been tryin to show her it was a really great book I’ve been trying to find it for years now.

Christian Romance book set in the 1800s. A Christian mans wife died giving birth to their daughter so he is forced to ask the town prostitute with a baby boy to feed his daughter. They end up traveling together and making a home. Her baby boy or the daughter get stung by a bee and die. But I’m the end she finds god. I remember reading it back in 2015 2016 I think. I can’t remember if they end up getting married or if they just travel together. They do seem to be attracted to each other but the main focus is on him sharing his faith with her."

His wife dies in childbirth I think, the woman is another settler who's husband died and I think she's pregnant, and I believe her baby gets bit by a spider and dies.
